Overall a comfortable stay and convenient location. However, there was an strong odor from the carpet in the room- likely from guest pets. The staff was kind enough to change rooms, but the smell was only slightly better. I would recommend regular deep cleaning of the carpets, or limiting pets to certain rooms.
The window shades in both rooms were also not functional.

Minutes from Isle of Palms Connector

Terrible stay

Dear Manager,
I checked in in the evening after a very long and tedious day. When I entered my room, I found it to be really cold. The thermostat said that the room temperature was 61 degrees and set to the same. The maid must have set this temperature. I moved the mode from "cool" to "heat" and moved the desired temperature up to 72 degrees. I went out to dinner, thinking that the room would recover in my absence. I got back at 10:00 PM and found the room to still be very cold and damp. The heater was still running and blowing out very cold air. I was too tired to re-pack and change rooms. I decided that the dampness (wetness) was coming from the air conditioning. So I turned the heater off thinking that the temperature and dampness would recover, however even with the heater turned off and the thermostat set on heat and 72 degrees, it continued to blow very cold air all night. I went to bed. My sheets were wet all night. I was very cold ALL night. Unfortunately there were no blankets in the room either. I know now that I should have changed room if I could have, but I was so tired that it seemed impossible to do. I received little or no sympathy when I checked out in the morning. I stay in Mt. Pleasant frequently, but I doubt that I will recommend this hotel. As you know, there is another Holiday Inn Express nearby.
I am very sorry to have had this horrific experience. I have been a Priority Club member for about 40 years and have stayed in Holiday Inns here and in Europe, but never one like this!

Reserved a room on the ground floor, did not get one.
Asked for a room close to the elevator, was given on quite aways down the hall. Room was not freshened up after our first night, had to go down to the desk to get more coffee pods, etc. Lobby had carts with large boxes and rolls of bedding (and a bicycle!) standing around. Conference room had stacks of carpet tiles taking up space, broken tables, lots of water bottles on the windowsills, no refrigerator in the conference room. Staff was not helpful.

Allows Pets, Needs to clean Better

While I like that they allow dogs, that's a big reason we booked there. They also charge a $75 pet fee (reasonable as they should have to clean more after a pet stays in a room), but the room we were in was not very clean. The floor had not been vacuumed well, the bathroom had a dirt footprint in the tub, and lots of debris on the floor. The room smelled of dogs or maybe the air-conditioned moldy or something.
We arrived late, and had to leave early so complaining about the cleanliness was not really an option.
The beds were comfortable the size of the room was great, and like I said allowing pets is great but cleaning with the additional fee is still important.

Great location for visit to Edinburgh Zoo

Unfortunately on this occasion the hotel did not meet up to the standard I expect from a Holiday Inn.
Arrival and first impression was good and reception staff helpful.
We had dinner in the restaurant but found it overpriced for the quality. We paid in cash and waited 10 mins for our change and eventually asked and the waitress went to find it.
Our room was comfortable but we found an empty bottle by the bed which showed the room had not been cleaned properly from previous guests. We reported this .
The next day our room was only partially cleaned the beds were not made properly and my pyjamas were just thrown onto the sofa even though they had been folded on the bed! The cups had not been washed and the tea and coffee not replenished.
We noticed the next morning that the cleaners were young lads and this may explain the lack of detail. I attach photos of the room as we found it.

The good: Property was immaculate inside and out as I would expect. Staff were friendly and polite as I expected. Breakfast was typical for a HIE, so it is what you make of it. PLENTY (and I mean ALOT) of dining options nearby (including a restaurant right across the parking lot) which is rare for a HIE property. Bed was comfy, but I will continue to hate their pillows until they find something better. Shower had HOT water. Climate control worked fine, and room was comfortable. TV had a TON of channels compared to other hotels I have stayed at (including IHG properties).
Now the not so good: I was not given a choice of welcome points or the snack bag at check-in, but just handed a goody bag, (I always choose the points). I was also not informed on promotional points that I was signed up for, and I am not sure if I got them. At check-out, the girl at the desk had no idea what I was even asking about. The staff should know the loyalty program better. The elevator is something from the 18th century I think. Extremely slow and outdated. The door to the rooms needed to be slammed in order to get them to latch and close securely. Not only a major security issue, but just a lot of unnecessary noise from slamming doors when people are trying to rest. TV had a ton of channels, but was mounted on a flimsy wall mount. It felt like it would break when you tried to adjust it. A fair amount of highway noise, as the hotel sits just off of the interstate. And I guess the last thing I really was not happy with is it took about ten minutes to get hot water from the shower. Once it got there, it was HOT, but just took forever to get delivered.
All in all, not a bad place. I would say average at best. It was clean, but definitely in need of some maintenance to bring it up to the standards I would expect at a Holiday Inn Express. Price was on point for what you get.

The room connects straight out to the pool which was nice. The room was relatively clean as the resort is new. But the food was disappointing, beef patty and fish were overcooked. Not that great as there wasn’t much food options around.

Holiday Inn Express Montpellier Odysseum enjoys an ideal location next to the Odysseum shopping and leisure center, as well as near the Millénaire business district. The hotel is easily accessible: just 3 minutes from the A709 highway exit and Montpellier Sud de France Train Station, 10 minutes from Montpellier Airport, and less than 20 minutes by tram from Montpellier Saint-Roch Train Station and the historic city center.
Private and secure parking is available (subject to availability, with a limited number of spaces).

This is a standard HIX in a convenient location with both the shopping mall and tram stop within walking distance. The mall area also has a number of good restaurants. The downtown is at a distance but Uber is readily available. The rooms are quite small and the breakfast choice is fairly limited. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was a couple of issues at check in. I booked this room on points and gave my credit card in advance for incidentals. My Daughter in law and Grandson were staying there. Upon arrival she was asked for a card for the incidentals as well. Then when they went to the room and opened the door it was already occupied? That is very uncomfortable for an unaccompanied female.

Decent hotel. Was very clean. Air conditioning wouldn't stay on and it's very warn in Indio. Thr elevator is also in an inconvenient location and takes a long time. Difficult since it is the only one and cleanning staff also use this elevator. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
