Fairly new hotel but lacked amenities
Yes, I recommend this property.
No complimentary toothbrush or toothpaste for stranded airport customer without their luggage.
Wasn’t offered welcome amenities as Diamond member.
Hotel was quite far from airport (about 20 miles) and Lyft ride to airport in snowy conditions took about an hour.
Liked the comfortable bed and relatively quiet room and the good water pressure in shower with handheld head and fitness equipment in the room.

Nice hotel in Eureka
Yes, I recommend this property.
Stayed 10 nights for work. Given a bigger room as a Diamond member. Room was clean and quiet (away from elevator and closer to stairs). Bed was comfortable with 4 pillows. Bathroom with good water pressure. Staff seemed helpful. Breakfast is the usual HIE food. Did not like that they have instant oatmeal in packets instead of cooked steel cut oatmeal. Would benefit from more plant based options. Price seems a high for HIE. Overall, it’s a very good hotel to stay at when Eureka.

Yes, I recommend this property.
Stayed one night on layover in DEN. Nice new looking airport hotel about 6 miles from DEN with free shared airport shuttle with other hotels in the area. Clean and comfortable room; fairly quiet; adequate water pressure. Complimentary breakfast with cooked oatmeal. There was also egg white omelets.

Nice hotel in Eureka
Yes, I recommend this property.
Stayed 10 nights for work. Being Diamond member, got an upgrade to king suite (not the one with whirlpool tub) on top floor. Hotel seemed fairly new or well kept. Location is close to a Costco and at one of the main streets in Eureka. Room was clean and quiet; everything seemed to work without any problems. Breakfast was ready and available at the listed times. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. Cost is somewhat high, but highly recommended when in Eureka.

Nice place near airport
Yes, I recommend this property.
Stayed 2 weeks for work. Overall, it’s a decent hotel (combo of Holiday Inn and Candlewood Suites). PROS: Room was fairly quiet and comfortable; bed was very soft. Bathroom was good with okay water pressure. Location is near airport so no problem getting to airport on time. Complimentary breakfast for Diamond member; when the cook is there, he does cook a nice potatoes with onions and red peppers. Staff tries to help the best they can.
CONS: Some renovation going on. There was no breakfast on couple of the mornings because the cook didn’t show up (no apologies, no refund or points given for inconvenience). Most mornings, the breakfast selection was very scant (no fruits, no oatmeal, stale bagels, no tea bags). Someone needs to go get some food.

Excellent hotel in excellent location
Yes, I recommend this property.
Stayed 2 nights as a Diamond member. Used 2 free IHG nights before expiration at end of the year. Got upgraded to a King suite but it was only to the 4th floor. No access to lounge.
PROS: Clean and comfortable room and bed; many different pillows; great Toto toilets; strong shower water pressure; great variety at breakfast (free for Diamond member) with amazing fruits, perfect location at the middle of Avenida Paulista a block or two from the metro, friendly and helpful staff.
CONS: Did not have soap in room so had to call to obtain some; the gym is big in the basement but filled with young people (it’s likely a membership gym); the outdoor pool on 3rd floor is really small.
Overall, excellent hotel in excellent location. Would stay here again if in São Paulo.

Nice hotel but water pressure in shower needs to be increased
Yes, I recommend this property.
Stayed 1 week for work as a Diamond member. The Candlewood Suite and the Holiday Inn are really just share one hotel. The front desk people are new and had difficulty with the computer and didn’t seem to know much about the amenities and benefits of different IHG status level. The hotel seems to be undergoing renovation and looks fairly new.
PROS: Fairly big suite with nice kitchen (large fridge and microwave), new looking and clean room, fairly quiet, strong toilet, nice hot breakfast at the restaurant/bar (comp for Diamond member).
CONS: very weak shower water pressure, terrible toilet paper, the kitchen did not have dish washing liquid or pad or any silverware; was not rewarded Green bonus points for not using housekeeping.
Overall, more good than bad, but they really need to do something about the shower water pressure.

CONS: Low water pressure, location is not the best area of town (several homeless tents close by), breakfast could be better (needs better fruit variety and quality, and cooked steel cut oatmeal with choice toppings instead of instant oatmeal).

Stayed 6 nights for business. Comfortable and clean. Hotel is older but still in fairly good condition. Good water pressure. Noise level can be high; can hear every step in the room above. Breakfast is good; had fruits; only had instant oatmeal and not steel cut oatmeal. Overall, nice older hotel.
