Terrible Experience : Needs Immediate Attention

We arrived just before midnight with our infant and elderly parents, only to be told the room we reserved, two queen beds and a crib, was accidentally given away. This was despite confirming the reservation the day prior including confirming we had a crib. We were offered a single king room with no crib, no sofa bed, and no other accommodations available. We weren’t the only ones—several guests were in the same situation.

The general manager, Curt Levy, was nowhere to be found and never came to speak with anyone. Front desk staff were clearly overwhelmed and unable to provide real solutions.

Left with no options, our family had to sleep on the tile floor. We were told extra bedding would be brought up—it never was. The room only had one towel, so we had to go back downstairs again in the morning just to get the basics.

We also relied on the hotel’s airport shuttle, only to learn after arriving that it stops running at 9pm—even though prior calls implied we could request a ride when we landed near midnight.

We followed up several times after our stay, but never received a response. When we finally reached Curt Levy, his response was dismissive and unhelpful—no apology, no resolution, and he abruptly ended the call.

This experience was a complete failure in customer service and basic hospitality. We will not be returning.

Always highway noise! Had to go to different floor to find ice. Always good front desk service except one younger, combed back dirty shoulder length haired white male who was rude and insulting. Kitchen help at breakfast was the best!!

Stay Away this hotel is falling apart

1) The night staff could care less what our issues were
2) Ants in the rooms lots of them
3) Water leaks everywhere in the hotel and in the sleeping rooms. The hotel staff told they have known about the problem for a long time and normally don't rent out the leaky rooms but they were oversold so they had to book them out. Their suggestions use the towels in the room to soak up the rain.
4) Asked for a wake up call straight up said no we don't do because most of the phones don't work anymore.
5) Asked for a late check out Sunday morning the person behind the counter wouldn't even look up at me and said no we are booked out and need you out as soon as possible. 8 hours later only two cars in the parking lot the hotel was completely empty.

Stolen AirPods

My daughter AirPods were stolen from our room. We were able to track them and it showed them in the building walking around. We reported it to the staff, they said they would look into it. Never heard back from them. The AirPods ended up at a home in FL not far from the hotel. Nothing was ever resolved.

Average downtown stay

Overall the experience was average. There was a few things at check in that were a bit off but that’s okay. Also, prices at the restaurant were very high and we ended up eating off property. Clean rooms, the only thing with that is we had a very tiny bathroom with a ledge I almost tripped on the first night.

AC didn't work

We stayed one night on the way to the Keys. We got in late so we were exhausted. The room was clean however the AC was set at 74. We figured it would cool down as we went to bed but thr temp never got cooler. In florida with NO AC is not good. It was too late to complain and we left early anyway. Could be a one off but still unacceptable

Poor customer service Cody the general manager discriminated my children. Made them feel very uncomfortable. She's very unprofessional and we will never stay at a holiday inn again. The kitchen cook is very unprofessional as well he as well was very rude and hateful to my children.
