Dirty & bad breakfast

The hotel hallways hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time, received towels with hair still in them, and breakfast was worse than fast food. Broken exterior doors and room door had trouble locking, didn’t feel safe. Worst Holiday Inn stay in a long time, do not recommend this property!

A beachfront high-rise hotel in the centre of Tel Aviv with free WiFi and excellent meeting facilities
Crowne Plaza® Tel Aviv Beach hotel sits on the seafront in central Tel Aviv, three km from Savidor Central Railway Station and the inter-city Ayalon Highway. It’s a 35-minute drive to Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV). Local bus services are within walking distance.
Fashionable Gordon Beach is at the hotel's doorstep, Tel Aviv Marina is next door and the seafront promenade attracts joggers and cyclists. The city's vibrant museums and arts venues are a short taxi ride away. It's a short amble to the shops and cafés of Dizengoff and Ben Yehuda Streets, and a free hotel shuttle links to the upmarket Azrieli mall. Great Location, Newly Updated Rooms, Horrible Service

The staff was not attentive to our needs especially the housekeeping staff. We made several requests throughout our trip that went ignored. We asked for vacuuming, never was done. Asked for our crib to be removed, never was done. There was a broken shelf in the closet of our room that nearly injured my 1 year old. The shower door didn't fully close creating a huge overflow of water throughout the bathroom every time we showered. There were several other hazardous objects to our baby throughout the room and hotel overall, like the coffee table and the revolving door to the beach that would open in both directions and hit us in the face on each use. Breakfast had horrible service too. I made simple requests like asking for cut up watermelon from the parfait bar and the server would refuse. There were several other similar instances like this, I got tired of complaining.

Worst experience of my life

Staying at this hotel was a nightmare, twice I was moved rooms due to the toilet flooding, the attendant was rude and unprofessional, all the rooms had horrible electrical wiring and none of the plugs worked. When I let the attendant know that the laundry room door was broken and the time was inaccurate she decided to call the police on me and my son with my service animal and have us removed although I paid for another night, I was tossed out in the rain as a tourist. I would never go to this horrid place again!!! Worst time of my life I would go to another town completely!!!

Not What We Paid For

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel based on our experience.
We booked two rooms for two nights and left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and at times, unsafe. We had our children with us, and the environment was far from what we expected.
On our first night, we were placed next to a room with several unsupervised kids who were running through the halls, yelling, slamming into walls, knocking on our shared wall, and carrying on well past 2 a.m. We kindly asked them at around 1030 pm if they could please quiet down. At 11pm I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up, at around 12am my fiancé brought the issue up directly to the front desk, not only did the staff call him out right in front of the same guests, but they also told him those guests would be asked to leave. They were never removed, and nothing changed. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and left us feeling exposed.
Later that night, things got even more unsettling. The adults responsible for those kids were partying across the hall. At one point, a man in a ski mask joined a group of adults standing directly outside our door, looking in through our peephole as if he were trying to intimidate and harass us. We heard one of the women say, “No, don’t do it,” before they all entered their room and slammed the door. Add in earlier taunting through our peephole and it felt like no one had control over the floor we were staying on.
We started audio recording everything that was happening from the adults and the children so we would have proof, and to be honest in case we needed something for safety purposes. Not only were my fiance and I on edge but our own children were scared of what was happening as well.
To make matters worse, when we returned late from a show the next night, the lot was full and we were told to “park at the hotel next door.” That lot was full too, and we ended up having to park on the grass — despite paying for two rooms.
We didn’t experience anything outright criminal, but the combination of loud and disruptive behavior, harassment from other guests, staff missteps, poor oversight, and a lack of parking created an environment that felt chaotic and unsafe — especially with children in our room. Definitely not the peaceful family stay we were expecting.

Disappointing Stay Experience

On Friday, April 17, I checked into Room 921 at the InterContinental Hotel. At around 10 p.m., while my wife was taking a shower and I was telling a bedtime story to my child, a stranger used a key card to open our room door. This incident caused extreme distress to my family and severely violated our privacy. Afterwards, the duty manager called to explain the reason and apologize, offering to cover a breakfast fee of 150 USD. At the time, I requested not only the 150 USD breakfast compensation but also a written report explaining why such a security breach and privacy violation occurred at the InterContinental Hotel. Today, I reviewed my bill and found that the 150 USD breakfast fee was not deducted, and I have not yet received the written report. I am deeply disappointed with the hotel and hope the hotel can provide a reasonable explanation.

Bedbugs

Our brief stay at this hotel was the worst. Staff were rude, dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional. We found bed bugs in BOTH queen beds; when we brought it up to the front desk, the staff member never apologized or asked if we were okay but gave me a look and asked if we wanted a different room. I was suffering all night because of bed bug bites and all the staff member had to say was if we wanted a different room. We wanted to speak to a manager, and per the staff members “knowledge”, said they would be in around 10 am. I gave my number and requested that she give us a call so we could figure this out. We never received a call. We called the hotel at 11:30 and asked for the manager, which she responded, and asked why we have not received a call. She proceeded to be impatient and rude. The manager was the most useless and incompetent “manager” we have ever spoken to. She claimed that the ONLY thing they can do is give us a refund for the one night but not for the full 2 nights that we had booked. Also saying that if we choose a different room then we would still be charged. They checked us out of the hotel without our consent, while we still had the room key. It took us 6 hours out of our day to get anywhere with this senseless back and forth. Don’t ever stay at this hotel. Bed bugs, incapable staff, and the inability to take accountability.

DIRTY!!!

My husband is an AAU coach. We travel to weekly with our family. Upon arrival, we walked into the owners barking orders at his employees as they were under a remodel of their lobby. Front desk staff was friendly. First room we checked into looked as if someone had just rolled out of the bed and had stains on the blankets. We requested a new room. In that room, the bedding was the same. I asked for bedding to be changed and was told they had no housekeeping staff on site at the time so they gave us new blankets to change ourselves. Furniture in room and at breakfast is beyond FILTHY. Large stains everywhere. Tub in room had cigarette burn marks and old soap scum all over shower walls. Trash was seen in corners of the room. Hallways smelled like dirty feet. This is the worst experience I’ve had with a holiday Inn. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Spend your money elsewhere!!!!

This IHG hotel should removed from the IHG name. It’s is absolutely filthy with mold in shower and around toilet. Furniture is falling apart, suspect stains on carpet and on sheets. Run don’t walk away from this one.

The elevator is so frustrating

Although there are three elevators in the hotel, only two are available for guests to go upstairs. What's worse, the staff elevator often stops on the first floor, but guests are unable to use it and others will skip to stop. During busy periods, such as breakfast or check-out times, we had to wait 3 to 5 minutes just to catch an elevator.
In addition, the room lock also seemed to have serious issues. Not only our key card fail to open the door, but even the staff couldn’t open it. It took them 30 minutes just to get the door open.
For a hotel equipped with new hardware and facilities, this experience was so frustrating and completely unacceptable.
