I always enjoy coming to the IC in Medellín. Unfortunately, a few things went wrong this time. Maybe it was because the hotel was very busy. Our beautiful suite had a defective sofa bed (luckily we didn't need it) and a defective bidet. Despite reporting the defect, it was not repaired. Although it would have been perfectly possible to install two hoses that were obviously missing. They simply accepted the complaint and that was that. One day we had no hot water. We were not told this either. The technician who had come to the suite. Said lukewarm would be enough. Unfortunately this is not a 5 star service. I ordered a birthday cake and never received it. by email and kindly send a bottle of wine and a cheese platter to the room as a token of appreciation for the inconvenience. That was nice of her but it was not really a consolation for all the grievances. But even at checkout it went on, as a Diamond Elite Ambassador Member I am entitled to a voucher for USD 20.00 for F and B services. The receptionist deliberately removed this from my bill! An unbelievable impertinence! After I complained, her colleague tried to fix it. But that didn't work
. They promised to credit the money to my next stay. Let's see if that works. Something positive. The team in the Club Lounge is cordial and makes every effort to make the guest feel comfortable. At least one ray of hope during this stay. Also the nice young man at the bar at the reception tries his best to take good care of the guests. Thank you to the dedicated staff for this!
