Extremely Bad & Unprofessional Hotel

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Holiday Inn Amritsar due to the completely unprofessional and poorly trained staff. On one occasion, a staff member attempted to open my room door without knocking, which is unacceptable and a serious breach of privacy. Additionally, I received an unprompted call from the reception instructing me to check out, despite no prior communication or reason for such a call.
The lack of basic amenities in the room was another major issue. Instead of being readily available, the hotel simply states, “Call us for whatever you need.” However, when I requested something as basic as earbuds, no one showed up until the next day.
Overall, this hotel fails to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality. Extremely poor service, completely unprofessional staff, and a lack of attention to guest needs. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Misleading - Not a Full Service Hotel

The staff and the location were great. However, despite the reference to the Bourbon Barrel Lounge on the hotel's website, it has not been in operation for years. Likewise, the hotel's restaurant (not the adjacent Denny's) is also not operational. So my thoughts of getting a burger and a beer at the hotel after a 7 hour drive were crushed and we had to get back in the car to find dinner and a drink. Very disappointed. Feel mislead and really don't understand how this hotel can keep the Holiday Inn name when it clearly not a full service hotel. At a minimum, they need to delete the reference to their lounge or make it very clear on their website that it is not open for business and, as a result, your dinner option at the hotel is a Denny's.

Award Winning Hotel near Bowling Green State University
Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Bowling Green. We are just 1 mile from Bowling Green State University and minutes away from local downtown Bowling Green Restaurants and shopping. We host students, family members, faculty, alumni, and anyone coming to visit the BGSU Falcons.
Our hotel is conveniently located just minutes from Magna Vehtek and other local area businesses. It is just a short drive to the Wood County Fair Grounds where you can enjoy events such as the National Tractor Pull Championship . You can also enjoy a sporting event at the Stroh Center or enjoy the hockey game at the Slater Family Ice Area
Our accommodations also offer free Wi-Fi, parking and hot breakfast. Maintain your workout routine at our 24-hour fitness center or go for a swim in out indoor heated salt water pool. Each room is equipped with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, and 43" TV.

Given the wrong room

We paid for a suite, but were given a regular room. The front desk employee was not very kind and said all rooms were booked and there was no switching. Not happy with how they made the error yet weren’t able to accommodate our family.

Holiday Inn® Brentwood M25, Jct.28 hotel is moments from M25 motorway and near Brentwood town centre. Buses run to Brentwood from right outside the hotel, and you can drive to the coast at Southend-on-Sea in around half an hour. If you have a flight to catch, London Stansted Airport (STN) is 25 minutes away by car. Our 8 event rooms are perfect for hosting celebrations or business meetings for up to 120 guests, and you can spill out onto the garden patio in the summer. Nearby businesses include Ford, BT and BNY Mellon. The shops and cinema at the huge intu Lakeside Shopping Centre are a 15-minute drive away, while nearby there are animals and family rides at Old MacDonald's Farm. For a night out, head to Brentwood's updated Sugar Hut now owned by famous club 338. At this hotel you can enjoy: Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service, A Fitness Centre and indoor pool. Welcoming guest rooms with comfy beds and a pillow menu to help you enjoy restful nights. You can start the day with a full English breakfast enjoy dinner in the evening and meet friends for Starbucks coffee or a glass of wine.

Poor services and bad staying experience

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it.
Upon arrival, the receptionist claimed that our booking was unpaid, even though we had already made the payment. When we showed her the paid invoices and mentioned that we would call the booking agency to confirm, she suddenly changed her stance and said it was indeed paid. This was highly suspicious, and instead of apologizing for the confusion, she behaved very rudely.
Additionally, we had ordered breakfast from the hotel, and when we later requested to have the food heated, they initially agreed but then suddenly refused. This lack of basic hospitality was quite frustrating.
The most concerning incident happened on the second day of our stay. Around 5:30 PM, someone attempted to forcefully open my door for about 2-3 minutes, which was extremely frightening. When we reported this to the manager and asked to check the security cameras, he simply dismissed our concerns, saying the hotel was "safe" without taking any action.
This level of customer service and security negligence is unacceptable. We did not feel welcomed or safe during our stay, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

A modern hotel five miles from Preston city centre, with free parking, free Wi-Fi and breakfast included

Avoid this place.... they do not value customer service

bathroom toilet would not flush. water pressure in shower was extremely low and slow therefore could not take a decent shower or use the toilet. called for help and it never arrived until it was time to check out of the hotel. Staff told lies and showed no concern. Was told at checkout that Managers and Supervisors do not work on Sundays so there was nobody to voice complaint to.

A little disappointed in Lincoln

I have never stayed at this location in my many travels through Nebraska. The Grand Island Candlewood Suites is hard to beat. It is so clean and updated. That being said- this hotel is old and tired. Not the end of the world but it was not very clean. The front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. The blueberries were delicious. I wish I could have had a single serve yogurt to take to my room. I don't enjoy sharing with others from a large tub. The fan in my room was very loud. I could not use it. Splatter on the kitchen cabinet. Just not too much attention to detail. The bed was comfortable and clean. That was a plus.

I left my toiletry bag at the room I stayed and when I reached out to the locations they found only a bag.
The most expensive items I left inside the bag were gone, which includes a cologne, which was $150, and other hair product.
I would never come again to this place again.

A smart Chester hotel on racecourse grounds, with inclusive breakfast and a bar. I cannot recommend Chester inn to anyone for the above reasons. Such a shame, the staff on reception seem to have been left in an unmanageable position. And a kitchen unable to produce the simplest of breakfasts.
