A smart hotel near Lyon’s Old Town, with an outdoor pool, free parking and WiFi included

Comfortable Ipswich hotel with a health club.
Holiday Inn® Ipswich hotel is only 10 minutes by car from the town centre.

Bad experience

I read a few reviews prior to booking. I thought ok it's only for the night it's just a bed. When I booked in I had to repeat my name 5 times to the receptionist, now I know I am an northerner but I still speak English. The room was ok comfortable but far from HI cleaning standards. I went to the fitness suite which was excellent very clean and relaxed. So I went for some dinner ( a loose term !!!!) I ordered the soup which was tomato and basil it was tasteless, then I ordered the Caesar Salad, well what came out was a bowl of leaves with all the Caesar dressing on the outer rim of the dish, there was some type of cheese that had been scraped up off the griddle you know what I mean cheese that has cooked on top of a burger say and has dripped of the side and formed a flat circle ? There was 3 of them on the dish despite the menu describing the salad has having parmasean shavings, but the best was 3 rather large pieces of stale rock hard mould covered ciabatta bread. Then add in 3 pieces of burnt to a jet black crisp bacon and you get the picture. How to you get a salad wrong ?

I was made aware of your disappointment with your meal when you checked out and understand that while you were dining with us my team did everything to try and resolve the problem you experienced. I am sorry the Caesar salad was not up our normal high standards and we have since changed the way we present it .

A modern Dabrowa Gornicza hotel with meeting rooms and free WiFi
Holiday Inn® Dabrowa Gornicza hotel is 15 minutes' drive from the city centre, and you can hop on a tram or bus nearby. It's 25 minutes by car from Katowice International Airport (KTW) and transfers are available. You can catch trains to cities across Poland from Dworzec Kolejowy Dabrowa Gornicza station, five minutes' drive away. The A4 motorway is 15km from the hotel.
It's a short stroll via underground walkway to the spa facilities and swimming pools of Nemo Aqua Park. At the nearby Centrum Formy leisure complex you can work out, play tennis or hire a Segway to explore Jozef Haller City Park. The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum 45 minutes' drive away, provides a sobering reminder of the horrors of war.
You can host up to 300 delegates onsite in six flexible meeting rooms, which have free Wi-Fi and high-tech AV equipment. Car parking is available for a low daily fee.

Holiday Inn DG feels like home! I like the staff and the service the most. Front Desk persons are very soft spoken and welcoming. Very clean and disciplined hotel. Wonderful Gym and user friendly TV :)

Extremely friendly Staff

Staff were amongst the friendliest and most helpful I've experienced. The standard of evening meals in the restaurant was exceptional. The only negative I have is that the air-con was dated and didn't cool very well which meant the room was too warm to sleep comfortably even in January.
