Closest Hotel to Magnolia Market, Less than a 10 Minute Walk
We are in the center of it all, positioned in the warehouse district and just across I-35 from the Baylor University campus. The Hotel Indigo® Waco Baylor hotel sits in the heart of downtown Waco's business hub and is walking distance to both the Waco Convention Center and Baylor University. We are steps away from local shops, restaurants, and nightlife near the Brazos Riverwalk. While in town we encourage you to visit the Magnolia Market at the Silos , as featured on HGTV's #1 hit series Fixer Upper. The Magnolia Market is located just three short blocks, about a ten-minute walk, down Webster Avenue. Be sure to explore other local favorites such as: Dr. Pepper Museum, award winning Balcones Distillery, the Waco Mammoth site, and the Texas Ranger Museum. if you are feeling adventurous head out to the BSR Cable Park or catch a game at McLane Stadium.
During your stay at our Waco hotel, you will enjoy our top-rated accommodations and customer service. Staff lacks basic hospitality skills--with one exception

I was excited to stay at Hotel Indigo Waco, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish.
After a long day at a sports tournament, my daughter and I checked in around 9:00 PM. The poorly lit parking lot immediately felt unsafe. When we entered the hotel, the front desk staff member greeted us with a sigh and said, "Ugh, I was just about to take a break,"—not exactly a warm or professional welcome.
Upon arriving in our room, we realized we had been given a king room instead of the two queens we had booked. We were too exhausted to go back to the front desk and ask for the correct room, especially since I assumed that the staff member was now on the much-needed break she mentioned earlier.
We ordered room service, and while the food was terrible, the one bright spot of our stay was Jackie, who delivered our order. He was kind, prompt, and professional—an absolute gem.
Just as we were drifting off to sleep at 11:00 PM, our phone rang. A voice on the other end asked, "May I ask whose room this is?" I assumed it was a prank call or wrong number and hung up. Moments later, the phone rang again: "This is guest services—you just hung up on me." The staff member then explained that she had assigned us to the wrong room, and the actual guests were trying to check in. There was no apology for waking us, no proposed solution—just a repeated statement that we were in someone else’s room.
The next morning, housekeeping staff woke us up at 8:00 AM with their loud conversation right outside our door. I later realized that our door didn’t close properly, even when deadbolted, leaving a visible gap between the door and frame—a major safety concern.
Finally, while a minor complaint compared to everything else, the ceiling over the bed was noticeably dirty and in need of attention.
Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing stay. From the lack of professionalism at check-in to the late-night disruption and safety issues, I would not recommend this hotel. The only positive was Jackie, but unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the experience.

Would Not Stay Here Again

I stayed for the weekend and don’t recommend this hotel.
The room smelled like stale smoke.
The toilet ran loudly all day and night.
The bathroom door scraped on the floor loudly with each use and would not stay closed.
The highway just outside was extremely noisy.

When you stay at our new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Detroit-Dearborn hotel, Dearborn, MI, explore the city and discover fabulous shopping, dining, entertainment and arts. Getting here is fast and convenient, too! The hotel is centrally located between Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Livonia and we are just minutes off I-39.
Leisure guests are glad that The Henry Ford is just a half-mile from our property in Dearborn, Michigan. Hotel guests also enjoy visiting the Ford Field, Comerica Park, Little Caesars, Huntington Center and Greenfield Village. A number of great shopping malls, such as Fairlane Town Center and Laurel Place Mall are close to our hotel.

This hotel allows what appears to be the homeless to serve and feed themselves breakfast and coffee and hang out in the lobby with paying guest.

The hotel breakfast is unsanitary for allowing homeless to serve themself breakfast/coffee and hang out in lobby. It is unsafe by allowing the homeless (one talking to himself and coughing everywhere) to mix with paying guests. It felt like i was staying at a homeless shelter and not a hotel.

A bright, modern hotel in Aberdeen's bustling West End, with WiFi and breakfast included
Holiday Inn Express® Aberdeen City Centre hotel is right in Aberdeen's West End , half a mile from the main rail and bus stations and 20 minutes by taxi from Aberdeen Airport (ABZ). The hotel is just around the corner from Union Street , Aberdeen's premier shopping destination with lively bars, restaurants and theatres.
Doing business in Aberdeen? The hotel is located close to regional offices for Shell, Total and Statoil. Two modern meeting rooms host 35 people each, with free WiFi , natural light and air conditioning. Freshly brewed tea and coffee, plus a lunchtime buffet option, will keep meetings productive.
It's a 10-minute walk to Aberdeen's stylish Union Square shopping centre. If you fancy seeing a show, His Majesty's Theatre is just five minutes on foot. Farther afield, you can explore Aberdeenshire's Castle Trail , or visit the region's whisky distilleries – ask friendly hotel staff for tips. For golfers, the hotel is three miles away from Royal Aberdeen Golf Club , while Trump International Scotland is only half an hour's drive.
All guests enjoy free WiFi and an inclusive buffet breakfast with selected hot items. The hotel's lobby bar offers an excellent range of malt whisky, plus draught beer and wine.

Great location but could do better

Ideally located centrally within 2 mins walk of lots and bars and restaurants, with clean rooms and professional and personable Reception staff to greet you. However, that location comes back to haunt you with street noise from drunken revellers until the early hours. Given this is clearly inevitable, the failure to minimise its impact via triple or even secondary glazing demonstrates a wilful disregard for guests comfort and peace, in what can only be assumed a cost saving measure.
The absence of any form of media streaming via smart apps on the TV like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc or even the ability to mirror content from your own device, (as is common at the majority of even budget hotels and to even the less expensive of TVs) means you can't even drown the noise with a good film,' yet further indication of penny pinching.
To add insult to injury, having booked a 1200 late check out on arrival, we were well before 0900 to 'confirm' we still wanted our late check out. Assuming the caller wasn't really that dull-witted and thoughtless to misunderstand our clear intent to have a lie in, one can only assume it was a deliberate ploy to wake us in the hope we would check out earlier so they could get away sooner from their room servicing commitments.
Ultimately, if you intend this hotel as a clean and convenient base to 'hang one on' its ideal - the only way you are going to get a good night's sleep is via being completely inebriated or a pair of good quality earplugs!

Disappointing experience

Our suite was rundown, furniture beat-up, mold around top of tub, remote blind had several holes, and remote did not work, bath towels very rough, lighting very poor, and carpet stains. Staff however are amazing. Overall our king suite needs a total renovation. I do not give it an excellent, in fact I don't recommend staying at this hotel.

I picked this hotel because it was newer and provided in-room suite amenities I was looking for. This hotel exceeded my expectations with the quality of the room, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the wonderful staff. It's location was also a bonus as we were able to get to so many different locations and sites very quickly. I didn't use the food and beverage options, so I cannot report the quality.

Great staff/ loud doors

The staff were great from the two different people at check in to the shuttle driver! Really appreciated the 24/7 shuttle service and the friendly staff at the very early and late hours we were interacting with them. We stayed a night before and after our vacation flying out of MCI. Only issue we had was a terrible fight lasted between other guests ALL NIGHT LONG and the soundproofing is lacking. The doors are super loud when closed so every time the other guests left I would wake up and they were going in and out all night long. The doors also had gaps where light penetrated through in both rooms we stayed at. If they could fix that this would be a 5 star stay for quick trips out of MCI.
