Stayed one night only and had bloodshot eyes in the morning after a decent night's sleep. Chemicals in cleaning products, laundry, or something had to have been the cause. Most hotels these days are more hypoallergenic - not this one.

We waited forever for check in woman to recognize us & receive us & we waited for her to think & reflect on the “fellowship” she had had with her lover/friend.
Finally got checked in & got our room but it was not what we asked for!

Currently, there are many things about this Holiday Inn that brings unpleasant experiences to frequent guests on businesses trip since I’ve been staying here monthly bases from the year of 2014.
Here are few things as an example,
First, This Holiday Inn is so outdated with maintenance and I wonder , how it gets passed with health and safety inspections by the Singaporean government.
Second, this Holiday Inn has been poorly managed since COVID which marketing to target some group of guests; absolutely unpleasant to stay for business travelers, and getting out of control.
For Example, the Club Lounge became a big family gathering place with minors where there’s no control what so ever where alcohol is served during evening hours. I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere in IHG Hotels un all over the world.

For a new facility this place was filthy. The shower doors would not stay shut so water sprayed out on the floor. When I wiped up the water the towel was brown. The wall next to the bed was also filthy, it looked like someone was kicking the wall with their dirty shoes.

This isn't some.big city where you would expect to pay for parking, this is a hotel off the interstate that just decided one day to start fleecing their guests for a parking fee. If you want $5 more, why not add it to the room rate? Instead, they hide the fee and spring it on you when you check in. This Diamond Elite member will never set foot in this hotel again because of this, and IHG in general is treading on thin ice with me for even allowing this in the first place. I want to be able to trust a hotel that I stay at, if they start throwing in hidden fees like this, I can't trust them. I suggest you go elsewhere too....

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is convenient to several local companies like VSG, Madison Precision, Grote Industries, Super ATV , and NUCOR . If you’re planning a visit to Hanover College , rest assured we are only 10 minutes away.

The room was a wreck from the walls being cracked to holes in the bathroom door just being covered by dry wall mudd. The bathroom was dirty had mold along the bathtub to dirt in the corners around the trim. I have pictures of all of this if you would like to see them!!

We arrived a bit early but my room was ready and we were able to relax and enjoy the stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk check in person was outstanding and the whole process was smooth and easy. Breakfast was hot and had good variety.
