Let me start with a positive point. The lady on duty to whom we reported the problem described above found a good solution, fast. Kudos.
However, here were our issues. First, the room we booked in advance was not available when we arrived. As a platinum elite and ambassador member I found that surprising. Second, this turned out to matter in a very tangible way, as the room we were given had a shower with a faulty temperature control. Consequently, both myself and my daughter were burned by the hot water while we tried (unsuccessfully) to fix the issue. We were given use of a shower in another room down the corridor, while contonuing to use our assigned room, but obviously this was not ideal.
Third, a minor complaint: we left early the next morning, and had asked for packed breakfasts to be made available at the front desk on check out. We never received them.
