Comfortable Bed

There were a couple of issues for us this stay:
- The first room we were given had not been cleaned so we had to move to another room which for mobility challenged guests was not greatest
- The bedside lamp to the left had a mind of it's own and was hard to switch on and off. It kept flashing and felt dangerous
- bathroom toilet had a leak around the base first time it was used
- The TV was a complete disaster - no menu at all and all we wanted to do was watch a movie but we could not. A very sweet member of staff came and tried to get it working for us but was unsuccessful and said it was something on the TV channel providers side. There was TV but we have to scroll through every channel and watch whatever because we could not choose. The reception/picture was very poor also. Not the evening we were hoping for, it was pretty stressful actually
- We had a decent supper at Ricky's restaurant but were not in the mood for breakfast in the morning, we just wanted to get home
- saving grace of the stay was the comfortable bed

Thermostat issues

My thermostat was not working, when I arrived it was over 86 degrees in my room and the thermostat was only set to 70. I had to sleep with the heater off which was less then ideal. Staff was helpful and tried to fix it but no issue was resolved. On top of that the room was not as clean as I would have liked it to be.

Horrible hotel

Horrible hotel state room was dirty sheets were dirty bath and was dirty. Told the agent twice. Nothing was done for 2 days. It wasn't until our last night that I spoke with the manager that the room was clean. But nothing was done. John, your service agent or supervisor in the evening was the rudest. Person, I have dealt a hotel.He was rude.He was aggressive confrontational and just didn't care

Serious complaint on recent stay

I have raised a complaint with IHG on my recent stay and I wanted to know your thoughts on this before I place a review online.
This was the worst stay of any hotel I have stayed in. It was very understaffed and we had to wait a very long time to be served with food or drinks. I included dinner in our stay and there was a number of dishes unavailable, I think because there was the same girl serving tables and cooking and they wanted to make it as easy for themselves as possible. The food was awful and we had to wait almost an hour for it to come out from the kitchen. Most of the food had been microwaved as it was all dry on top, one of my children even commented it looked like prison food. One of the occasions I went to the bar for drinks the person took payment and disappeared without pouring our drinks, I had to ask a member of staff to prepare them. The Breakfast in the morning was utter Chaos as there was a huge cue to be seated in the breakfast room and after waiting for 15 minutes we had to sit in the reception area. There wr no cups or glasses available and there was hardly any hot food as there was far too many customers than the staff could cope with. I took my partner and children there and we had been looking forward to it since booking it. We wr all very disappointed with our stay and I feel like it was an utter waste of money and time we will never get back I look forward to hearing back from you very soon.

When visiting Corporate offices like Boeing, Flight Safety, Mercedes Benz, Virgin Orbit, VA Hospital, Long Beach Memorial or vacationing along the coast and attending Tradeshows and exhibits at the Long Beach Convention Center our location is centrally located and near major freeways. We offer our guests a complimentary shuttle service to and from Long Beach Airport. Getting to Disneyland or Universal Studio is easy 20 to 25 mile from our location.

Early checkout

I have been top tier with IHG for 12 years. In those 12 years I either extend or checkout early 75% of the time. I have never been charged for an extra day before. I also top tier with Hilt0n and they have never charged me for early checkout. The lady at the front desk was absolutely cold and unfeeling about my distress due to this unusual policy. I had to charge my customer for a hotel stay that never happened. This put me into a very difficult position. I will never darken the doorstep of this hotel again. If any IHG property does this to me again Hilt0n will be getting all my business from that day forward. I stay in hotels 5 days a week, except for holidays and vacations, so it is a good chunk of change.
I brought this to the Diamond desk and have received no response. Not Happy.

Terrible Beds

The beds were very uncomfortable. Snow was not removed from the sidewalks nor the parking lot, so had to make several trips to load things back in the truck.

Don’t be fooled

I was extremely disappointed and I should have reviewed this place a bit more before I stayed, but believe me I wasn’t the only guest that was disappointed that weekend of Cheersport competition. The hotel is dated and worn and it shows, they ran out of towels and my room never got serviced over a three day period, the manager never returned my contact request, I observed a guest that wanted to check out early being charged $75 for that action, breakfast was $22 per person Really! Fortunately I pre paid during the reservation which I strongly recommend it’s a better deal. The breakfast itself was decent. The bed was comfortable. The shower temperature Luke warm. The room temperature control is not very responsive. There is no microwave nor refrigerator in the room which forces you to have to eat out more. There is a subway a block away which I found useful. But overall for the cost and quality and services not received, I Cannot recommend this hotel, I hope this helps fellow travelers in making a decision. Peter USA Retired.

The closest hotel to Inner Harbor!

Cold room

The heat in my room did not work. I was provided a small space heater and additional blanket. Wanted to take a shower, however there was no hot water to do so. Staff friendly, but zero comfort while away from home. I was cold and couldn’t take a hot shower.
