Better management and updates needed

Upon arrival room was not ready, elevator had been down and just returned to service making housekeeping running behind. I understand. Arrive at 4:15 but couldn’t check in till 4:40. As we went up to 4th floor, all linens were in bags outside of every room. In room, bathroom door would not close, toilet kept running, toilet seat was very loose, fan in bathroom was noisy, and NO TOWELS! Did tell front desk, but nothing was even attempted to correct issues. At 7:30 am, I went down to grab a Coffee and a bit of breakfast and they had almost nothing for breakfast. Apparently truck never delivered. Before heading out for the day, I asked Housekeeping to freshen room, make beds and leave clean towels. Upon returning nothing was done. So I went down to front desk and asked for clean towels, which they gave me dirty towels.

Next day, Breakfast selection was still lacking.

Not clean

I been to plenty hotels and would not recommend this one bathroom are not clean it’s gunk and build up in the shower even 2 rooms after room .the manager different see a problem with the situation and that’s a red flag

disappointed

Very disappointed stay. Unclean room, have to go to front desk to get your own TP, parking for guests an issue because of construction, breakfast running out of food, 3 days in a row, rude night front desk person, had to move out of 1st room because of construction noise, hearing from kitchen staff how their budget is cut so we as the quest don't have the enough supplies!

Horrible stay

My stay at Holiday inn Express in Terrell Tx was a horrible experience. There were water bugs crawling around my room. I am deathly afraid of them. I was up all night and I was not offered another room. I was up all night unsure if one would crawl on me or my Special Needs granddaughter who was also terrified. We were in Terrell Tx for my aunt’s funeral. I was very disappointed in the quality of the room as a whole. Thank you

They double charged me and took the charge off when I was at the hotel only to put it back on my card after.

Average stay

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel for five nights and had a mixed experience. The hotel lobby environment was nice, but my interaction with the staff was disappointing.

As a Diamond member, I requested an upgrade to a king bed since I’m a tall person and always prefer a king bed to avoid back issues. However, despite my repeated requests and daily follow-ups, I was never accommodated. The staff kept making false promises, assuring me that the upgrade would be available the next day, yet it never happened. Sleeping on a queen bed for five nights was uncomfortable and frustrating.

While the room was very clean, the overall condition was poor. Simply adding new furniture does not compensate for a lack of maintenance. The wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom silicone was yellowed and unmaintained, and there were no trash bags in the trash cans, which felt unhygienic. Additionally, the mattress was old and uncomfortable.

I brought these concerns to the front desk and asked about the hotel’s management. I was informed that this property is managed by IHG as a franchise. Given this, I expected a much better experience. I hope to see improvements at this property during my next visit to Atlanta.

Sponge bath

Arrived Wednesday and wanted to shower around 11pm. Used sink and toilet but no water in the shower. Figured it would on in the morning but it wasn’t. Went down to breakfast and told the front desk. The man said they were having water problems. Ask if they knew this last night. Man said he wasn’t working last night and didn’t know. Offer 1000 pts and a key to a room with water. Had appointments to keep and didn’t have time. Very disappointed in the lack of attention to knowing if a room has water or not.

Oh My!

If it hadn’t been for the fact we were exhausted from moving a family member, we would have left. The pictures say it all. Can’t wait for the new hotels to open here. Front desk clerk needed an attitude adjustment to top it all off.

VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Do not recommend! Parking is a huge rip off! I was told twice that the parking bill was all set and paid.For 3 days it came out to 79.68! Just received a bill in the mail that I owe 104.93! Trying to get it resolved is a complete joke! Rude staff at the hotel! I was put on hold for 20 minutes waiting to speak to someone. Nobody! Chat with a digital assistant is a joke to! Still not resolved! I have been at this for 2 hours now!
