Overall Pathetic Experience on all Parameters, Poor Room higiene, stinking Room due to smoking Room. Poor maintained Sauna bath, Breakfast was Messy. Prices hiked for corporate Rates without informing. Not at all acceptable from IHG group

Holiday Inn® Leeds - Garforth hotel is 15 minutes drive from Leeds city centre. There's free parking, and Garforth Station, a mile and a half away, has direct lines to Leeds, York and Scarborough. The M1 motorway is close by, and Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) is half an hour drive away.
Six miles away, in Leeds city centre, you can see jousting re-enactments at the Royal Armouries Museum or come face to face with the Leeds Tiger at the Leeds City Museum. If you prefer the countryside, you're only an hour drive from the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. The hotel's 19 meeting rooms can host up to 300 delegates. The free WiFi throughout the hotel helps you keep up with work. Thorpe Park, home to IBM and Northern Foods, is just over a mile from the hotel, and the local Cross Flats Industrial Estate is also close by.
Swim in the indoor pool, work out at the Fitness Centre or unwind in the spa. The Open Lobby Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and a full evening menu. Enjoy a nightcap beside the fire in Open Lobby Bar and Lounge or on the patio in summer. You can order snacks at any time thanks to 24-hour room service. Kids stay and eat free.

Very Poor Experience

On arriving at the hotel I was checked in and going to my room it was discovered that the key card was not working. I then returned to reception to get new keys. On returning to the room the keys still never worked. I had to do this a further 2 times whilst carrying all of my luggage until the receptionist worked out that the door was not working. I was then allocated another room, upon gaining entry it was noted that the room carpet and bathroom had not been cleaned and was covered in dirt from previous occupants. I contacted reception and informed them of this and also the tv was not working and 2 of the 3 lights in the bathroom were blown as well as the toiletries being empty. The receptionist did change the tv however the room was not cleaned nor the lights repaired or toiletries replenished even after the room was supposedly made the next day. I again complained to reception and again nothing was done. I have stayed at this hotel many times and it has drastically gone down hill recently. Simply not good enough for such a big chain.

The hotel was packed! One elevator worked. There was no Hot Water anytime someone showered. The walls must be thin, so many loud kids!

After check in at Intercontinental hotel KL.
When I just open the door, I saw some dust on the rug on the floor. I have to wait more than 30 mins for house keeping team.

Then I come back at the hotel around 10.30 PM and I found that A/C in my room doesn’t work well and engineer team comes to my room for fixing at midnight and create some dust on the rug again
The day after, I was offered to change to new room when I saw at the air filter at the ceiling. It was full of dust again (photo as attached)
I failed with this hotel and will never come back for sure

ok, but should be better

We arrived and everything was fine, until 10.00PM. We had some elephants upstairs from us and it was horrible. Finally at about 11.00PM, it stopped. We got up early, which is unusual for us, and went for the free breakfast. The eggs and the potatoes were overcooked, and horrible. Not much there for an alternative. Good thing we were up early because they were doing construction in the room next to us, and never told us, so even if we wanted to sleep in, there was no way! After the lousy breakfast, we thought we would hit the hot tub. Got there and it was closed!! Its 10.00AM. Went to the front desk and they said that chemicals were added!! Don't you think you would do that at night when the pool is closed?? We paid for the amenities, and there were none. The hot tub was really lame. It had no jets, but it was warm. It was the worst hot tub I have every seen.

Bad airport shuttle service

I booked this hotel for 3 nights to make an overnight visit to Iguazu Falls on the 2nd day easy. I tried to get the airport shuttle back from EZE to the hotel following the front desk’s instructions for using WhatsApp. I was first given info on a shuttle to the airport instead of from. Then received no response despite 2 more tries and had to find my own transportation.
When I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, I was told I was wrong until they finally looked at their WhatsApp account and saw my messages with no response. Then received the weakest I’m sorry.

Unsanitary sewage conditions

Upon checking into my room (March 12, 2025), I did not immediately notice any major issues, as I left straight away to dinner. Upon my return late that evening, I only had the light from the television, so did not notice any issues. The following morning, however, I became aware of a strong sewage odor and discovered that the carpet at the entrance to the bathroom had visible dried sewage stains. (See photo attached)

Likely the worst ever

I have been staying in IHG branded hotels for 30+ years and this location was easily the worst I have encountered. To merely say it needs updating would be an understatement. The carpets we so dirty and slimy I wore my socks. Wall sockets didn’t work. The room smelled like someone wearing way too much perfume in order to cover up nasty smells. The hotel always had nasty smells of one sort or another. One day it was burning plastic. The next day it was mildew. It was loud much of the time either with dogs barking or engines reving in the parking lot. Front deak staff were largely unavailable and maids only clean the rooms once per week. There’s more if I realy stopped to think about it. Not a good place to stay. You’ll regret it. You couldn’t pay me to go back.

Unfriendly customer service and lazy. Would rather turn you away than smile and take the 2 minutes to check you in and make your stay as nice as possible.
Kevin has a zero score for customer service.
He also aloud maintenance to beat and try to enter my room to replace a sofa knowing we just checked in. Thank god for the extra inside door security or two men would have walked in on me.
