Booked 2 rooms and stayed 4 nights. No acknowledgement as Diamond Elite member upon check in and no upgrade offered by staff at check in. The reception staff lacked warmth or hospitality with the exception of Ms Sakurai (at check out) who was very helpful and kind.
The rooms were nice and everything was clean and new. There was enough space and the layout was ok, comfortable for a 4 night stay.
Breakfast is decent with a good spread of food. Downside was that breakfast area was small and was not able to accommodate all guests especially during the busy hours and if the hotel occupancy is high. Food was repetitive every day. Something that could easily be changed but not done currently. There is a cafe in the hotel that serves coffee and cakes besides the in house restaurant. However, the price of a latte is eye watering!
Location of the hotel is ok but not the best. It is approximately 2 km to Osaka Station and 2.5km to Dotonbori. So not quite walkable. The hotel is in a business area so very quiet and not much of anything around it. A few izakayas within walking distance, a family mart but no other shops etc.
Nice hotel to stay at since it is new but lacks the true touch of Japanese hospitality. Staff are just basically “doing their job.”

We have been staying at this property in the Maldives for over 10 years. There have not been any significant changes to the resort in terms of their rooms, facilities etc. The one great thing is their level of excellent service provided by the staff, from Boat boys, Front Office right to Restaurant staff.
The resort needs to remodel/redo their rooms. We stayed in an Overwater Villa this time and the room surely requires some major renovations and improvements e.g. new curtains, new flooring, new ID just to name a few! The rooms look tired.
F&B choices were quite abundant but prices are a bit eye watering! Granted that all food and drink items have be imported but USD$17++ for a 1 litre box of Apple juice just seems a tad over the top! My advice would be to drink as much apple juice at breakfast time! Also, restaurant staff seem a little overwhelmed and room service took 50 minutes to deliver a pizza and a Caesar salad? The food served at The Kitchen was excellent though!
Diving promotion of 2 free dives a day for certified divers staying and paying for at least 3 nights accommodation provides good value.
COMO Spa is still excellent and Yani is an excellent masseuse. Highly recommended!
Overall, this has been a good stay but the resort has lost some of its veteran staff and a little of its value (for money). There is plenty of room for improvement if they wish to compete with the newer resorts close by. Owner and management just need to be introspective and make real changes.

Stayed 5 nights with the wife recently. First the Good Points:
1. Convenient location along Canggu's main beach road.
2. 10 minute walk to the beach.
3. Small boutique style hotel with 144 rooms. Only about 120 rooms are open currently.
4. Nice landscaped surroundings.
5. Very high quality room with very good finishes, kudos to the owner!
6. Excellent housekeeping staff with rooms cleaned thoroughly.
7. Most fantastic Executive Chef (Mr Suhaimi Atas) who together with his chefs cook wonderful, easy and inspired breakfast. So good that we had to have dinner 2x and lunch 1x during our stay! 5 star food consistently!
8. Staff are friendly, remembering our names. They were helpful and efficient!

Now the Not-so-Good of this Resort:
1. As Diamond Elite, no automatic upgrades prior to Check In. Was assigned an Ocean View Room on the 2nd floor! A bit of a letdown. Was told we could have been upgraded if not for the fact that my room booked was King Ocean View. Extremely strange reasoning! We stayed one night and asked to be moved to the 5th floor (Twin Room) but with an excellent view.
2. Requested for late checkout of 2pm upon checking in. Called to reconfirm but was told that latest checkout would be 1pm (Gone are the days of guaranteed late checkout of 4pm) and this was a privilege (Yes I am painfully aware of this)! However, upon further probing I was told I could checkout at 2pm as originally requested.
3. I was asked if I wanted to meet the GM (Mr Ankit). I agreed but this never materialise although I did see him with some friends on his Off Day one Saturday evening. However, I did not want to intrude.
4. NO real special treatment or recognition for Diamond Elite members (although we did get a welcome plate in the room). No recognition or personal note from the GM, but just a written card from the Front Office staff.

We stayed 3 nights here and this is a beautiful hotel located in the Opera area of Paris. A Grand Old Dame of a hotel with the famous Cafe De La Paix. Service was excellent as staff went out of their way to ensure we could have at least one room (we booked 2 rooms) available early since we arrived on a red eye flight. Staff Ernesto was most helpful and kind.
The rooms are very well appointed with plush furnishings. We were provided with complimentary snacks and drinks in our rooms, maybe perhaps because I am Diamond Elite. The two issues I had was the water pressure in the shower was too low (although later rectified) and did not provide a good showering experience. The other issue being that it was very difficult to shower in a small narrow tub. It would have been better if the room has a standalone shower stall.
The staff at this hotel was really good. They were efficient, polite and most helpful. The hotel is located next to Opera Garnier, walking distance to Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and several high street shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a delightful spread of delicious foods. Really good stuff!
A would recommend a stay here at least once if visiting Paris!

We stayed here for 3 nights. This is a small boutique style hotel just 250m from the Arc De Triomphe. Very conveniently located with an abundance of sights, shops and restaurants.
Service levels at this hotel was excellent from the bellman to check-in to breakfast, all the staff provided 5 star service. They addressed us by our names and were extremely helpful on all occasions. Special mention must be made for staff Bart, Ismail, Franck and Juan. The front office ladies were also most polite and helpful!
Although the rooms were a little small, the amenities were of a high standard e.g. Byredo products, Dyson hairdryer etc. The only suggestion I would make for this hotel would be to provide daily at least two bottles of drinking water. Our room had a view of the Eiffel Tower as well. My son's room faced the back of the hotel. Not the best view but ok for a standard room.
Very nice hotel which I would highly recommend! Keep up the good work!

First time visiting Nagoya and first time staying at the Crowne Plaza Grand Court. This is an established hotel located right at the doorstep of Kanayama Station on the Airport Express Meitetsu line from Chubu International Airport. Very convenient as the hotel is approximately 200 meters from the south side of the station.
This hotel is pretty much in the same style as other CPs in Japan. Rooms are big and we were upgraded to a Corner Room High Floor given my Diamond Elite status. It was also very nice of them to allow us an early check in. The room was very well furnished in an "classic" style, with well maintained furnishings and a comfortable bed. Overall, I would say good value for money.
The hotel's main entrance seems to be undergoing some renovations so entry and exit was via the side entrance adjoining another cultural building. But not inconvenient at all.
Breakfast was quite good with both a Western and Japanese spread. We also tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant and had an excellent set dinner menu that was extremely value for money! Food was quite exceptional!
The hotel has a decent gym for a good workout.
Overall, this is a nice and well kept CP with excellent service levels provided by the Front Office and Housekeeping staff.

Stayed from 31-1 over the New Year. Last stayed here almost 10 years ago. Although hotel is old, a number of rooms have been renovated and these are fairly nice rooms to stay in. We were upgraded to one such room given my Diamond Elite status with IHG. We bought a standby lounge access upgrade but were never offered it upon check-in. Most disappointed with this. I think it would have been nice to offer this especially to Elite status members so that they can have a better understanding and "advertise" such facilities.
Room was quite large with a nice shower booth only. Amenities in the toilet was not the best but passable for short stay.
The hotel is very convenient if you are interested to see the fireworks on New Year's eve. Also, it is very close to Harbour City, Star Ferry etc. There is plenty of food and public transportation is easily accessible.
Check in staff was super friendly and provided us the room at 12pm without us having to wait. The gentleman was very efficient and friendly. Kudos to all Front Office staff and especially to Gary Ngai, the Executive Assistant Manager who went out of his way to secure an extra rollaway bed for my son who joined us for a night there.
Breakfast was decent but also messy as there were many guests. Quality of food was satisfactory and spread was sufficiently wide.
Overall Bell Desk and Housekeeping provided top notch service!
Recommended to stay for its location and convenience along Nathan Road. Book the higher category rooms if possible.

Stayed here again from 29-31 Dec 2023 after more than 5 years since our last visit. Hotel has not changed much. Although we had an upgraded Harbour View room, the furnishings were still "old style" but well maintained. The view was excellent as we were on the highest floor. Although we registered for a Standby Upgrade for Club Lounge facilities, we were never offered or given it at Check-In. even though I hold Diamond Elite status with the IHG program.
Check-In was efficient as we arrived early but given the high season, we could not have our room earlier than 3pm. Though I was greeted as a Diamond Elite member, the staff who registered our information was unfriendly. No smiles etc!
Breakfast was chaotic as there were many guests and the entire buffet area was a mess. Seating was also not good as we were assigned a table for 2 when were were 3 persons. Staff just shrugged their shoulders when we explained that we preferred a bigger table. Food taste and quality was ok with a decent spread but certainly not 5*.
Room quality and furnishings were well maintained but very old style and small. View from the room of the harbour was really beautiful.
The hotel gym was decently equipped and one could get a decent workout.
Housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning the room. As well, bell desk was also very efficient and helpful.
Overall a decent hotel but not really 5*. Perhaps closer to 4.5*. Recommended for convenience to harbour front and tourist parts of TST.

This hotel really surprised us tremendously! Being a HI Express, our expectations were somewhat muted prior to staying. However, we were happily surprised at the service provided by the Front Office staff especially a nice young man named Mr Jumaat! He was helpful and friendly. All the staff there were conscientious in not just doing their work but also in handling their guests.
I had a problem with my room's shower the previous night and I reported it and viola, the matter was solved the next morning!
Free breakfast was provided to all guests. Though the food was ok, the spread was a little limited. Perhaps one or two more items for the Western and Asian breakfast spread would be great! The ladies working at the breakfast venue were friendly and most efficient in clearing the finished plates and replenishing finished food items!
The room was modern, very clean and exceptionally well thought out in its layout. We actually love the room! Although the room is not big, one does not feel that its in anyway cramped either. Housekeeping ladies are thorough in cleaning the rooms etc. They were also very friendly.
I would not hesitate to stay in HI Express Katong anytime! This hotel is exceptionally well-run and most meticulously maintained! Highly recommended!

First time staying here. The room was exceptionally large and well appointed. Plenty of space for your luggage and good amenities provided.
The Grill restaurant served exceptionally tasty food but what was most memorable was the service provided by the staff especially an Intern named Melissa. Fantastic person with great personality and gifted in customer service!
Check in was quite good especially assisted by Aysura. However, I cannot say that the rest of the Front Office staff were smiley or friendly and did not choose to greet us when we passed by etc.
Valet services provided by Raj was really good and he was courteous and most helpful.
The hotel has several designer boutiques located within it and many other restaurants as well. The pool area was nice but a little small. The gym is exceptional with very modern and clean equipment.
Overall, this is a really good hotel located right in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's premier shopping belt!
