Clean and nice but AC was weird

Before you go to sleep, set the AC down 3 or more degrees below what you consider normal, then set the fan controls to medium, or you'll wake up hot. Otherwise it's a good hotel.

Never Return

First our room was not clean and the phones did not work so I called from my iphone and waited 20 minutes for someone to help me. The worst part of the room was that they knew I use a walker and we had a one bedroom suite. I could not go past the bed into the entry way to the bathroom. The bathroom was so small that my walker could not fit in it and I am totally dependent on it. I was traveling with my grandkids, teens so I could not use the bathroom with the door open. I had to collapse my walker to get past the bed and wall. The only way I was able to use a bathroom was to go down 3 floors to the lobby to use that bathroom. That was terrible to use at night. So I had a room with no bathroom that I could use. I was not given a handicap room either. I did not want to and will not pay for a room that is not cleaned or have a bathroom that I can use. Shame on Staybridge to try to make me pay for it. If you are handicapped do NOT STAY THERE!!!

Watch out for the fees

I really enjoyed most aspects of this hotel, the pool was amazing and our room was nice and clean. With that being said, you get hit with a $20 per day fee that we didn’t use any of the services for, and a $17 a day parking fee, so my 4 days stay cost me an extra $200 in fees. As a consumer, with the already crazy high prices of everything, this was hard to swallow(I knew about the $20 per night but missed the additional parking fee), and turned my valuable savings into nothing. I enjoyed most aspects of the hotel minus the crazy slow elevators, but I will definitely compare a little closer next time to make sure what I’m being charged for is something of value to me.

Terrible

First room heat didn’t work. Couldn’t staff had checked this before they gave us the room. Called after I unpacked and heat didn’t work. They moved us to another room after unpacking. Second room , staff never cleaned our room. Called housekeeper to give us new towels and take out the garbage. They said someone would be up at room shortly. No one ever came. Had to rescue towel and smelly trash. Terrible experience. Not recommended

Shocking Ending

While the Hotel is in a beautiful and convenient location, the rooms are dated, and bathrooms, well, less than stellar. My suite had furniture that was scratched and dated, the bed sagged on one side, and the bathroom walls, especially in the commode room, were filthy. To top it off, I have the checkout receipt, but when I got home they had double billed my credit card. I couldn’t believe it! Now I have to fight the charges.

Perfect Stay After a Long Day of Travel

EVEN was comfortable, clean and just what I needed. The hotel restaurant was delicious and the staff were kind and helpful. I was able to eat, take a drink to my room and just relax for the rest of the evening. The next morning the front desk staff were able to point me to the best coffee in Bozeman.

Candlewood Suites Lancaster West.
Come experience the Amish Country or go shopping at some of the best designer outlets. The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi to all its guests, along with free parking. The property consists of a heated indoor pool and a general fitness center. We were built in 2017 and offer 85 rooms, each equipped with a full kitchen. This newly constructed hotel has four floors is located close to many destinations. We offer ADA accessible rooms and large suites. The hotel houses a cupboard where complimentary coffee is offered and guests may purchase snacks. Whether it’s a business trip, weekend getaway, or a reunion, we are here for your every need. We are 100% smoke free.
The hotel is located right off of Route 30 and very close to many attractions. We are situated outside of Lancaster City. Guests will find many farmers markets and country charm throughout their stay in the area. Lancaster County has many different types of fairs, shows, and events going on all year long, please feel free to ask our front desk staff for local and current suggestions. We are also close to many large businesses. Some of the major businesses include Armstrong and Lift, located less than two miles away. Lancaster General Hospital is about fifteen minutes from us.
We strive to satisfy all our guests. Please feel free to ask for anything you may need during your stay with us, Candlewood Suites Lancaster West is here for your hospitality.

Poor communication

Had to wait an hour past checkin time for room. Did not receive room reserved from original reservation. No call back from management after I was promised they would take care if and get back with a response. Did not receive green bonus points as advertised. I would not recommend based on overall experience
