It will do…

Close to Ronald Reagan airport (the best feature of the place to me anyway), and not too far from the National Mall and accompanying sites. The attached Fresh Market breakfast is not that good, I’d much prefer the standard dining rooms of other Holiday Inn Express hotels which have more options prepared better than this place (and usually included for free—this restaurant charges $22 per adult to eat). Our housekeeper figured out that we were there for a week, and stopped making our beds, emptying the trash, and replacing towels unless we specifically pinned her down to ask, and even then some of it didn’t get done. The workout facility had a broken machine I would have used and only single dumbbells for certain weights. The proximity to the airport and its shuttle service there and back (best feature of this hotel in my mind) as well as proximity area attractions might make us come back (MIGHT), but this is not the quality of stay I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express.

Could Be Better

I’m not one to write a bad review, but I was very disappointed with this stay. The room was dusty, there was stuff behind and underneath the furniture, the curtains had tears in them, the tub and shower had sever hard water stains (to the point that I had to scrape hard water buildup off the shower head to get more than a trickle,) and the sheets had stains (I don’t think the sheets on the pullout were changed at all.) I paid a lot of money to have a really nice room and that just wasn’t the case here.

The place is convenient because is close to air port but the hotol laundry is eating money we have to pay by app its take double triple payment some days not working , one whole day no hot water in the building when we ask when will hot water available not give proper answer also they said include breakfast but eachbday when we go they treated coming somewhere for food.

Not what it used to be

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been happy. The last two times have been horrible! The new thermostats have the heater or air conditioner turning on every two minutes and it is loud! It was not restful at all. I did not have a hair dryer in my room, so I called to ask for one. I was told they would bring it right up. 5 minutes later I got a call asking if I was coming down, because she was by herself and couldn’t leave. I understood, but when I went down a man was working the desk and the woman wasn’t around. He didn’t even know why there was a dryer on the counter behind him. The walls are very thin and even though I was at the end of the hall, I heard lots of voices in the hall. I wasn’t even able to take a hot shower in the morning. After letting it run for several minutes on full blast it was tepid. By the end of my shower it was slightly warm. I feel like this hotel has really gone downhill.

College softball stay

Location is decent. Lobby is a bit strange due to decor. Folding tables all over for computer desk etc. Biggest letdown was pool and hot tub were down upon arrival. It’s an okay hotel but a bit pricey for amenities. Man at front desk at check in was a bit rude and short. At checkout, gentleman asked why we were disappointed and offered discount which we appreciated. No key entry for outlying doors was odd also. Room was average. Not many good choices in Quincy to choose from.

Unfortunate Overnight Stay

Upon arrival received a $250 unknown incidental fee, as I was charged prior to my stay for an incidental fee since I resided within a 30mile radius of the hotel. No indication on the receipt of this fee that will be charged upon arrival nor in the webpage during booking. The room had terrible reception for the cable/ antenna. The air in the room initially attended had broken air system. Was moved to a new room, no further issues with the air. However, the antenna remained to still have no channel reception, which seemed to occur throughout the property as a friends room had no signal alongside. At night when a shower was taken the water was solely cold, and hardly had a warm temperature to touch. Provided a review to the hotel, prior to publicly posting, however the response was standard. The GM indicated she would retrain her staff, which is absolutely absurd considering the staff was not the issue but rather the property. Select this hotel as your next stay with caution.

I went there for my anniversary me and my husband booked a room to surprise one another but we ended up with two booked rooms at the same time. The hotel couldn’t accommodate us we didn’t want a refund just to book the other room for another day and they refused to do that or give a refund for one of the rooms.

Unacceptable room

Blood strains every where on carpet, blood stains ran throughout room leading to window were window was broken that look like piecing of bullet hole(s). Unable to switch rooms due to being sold out. Covered stains with towels!! This is unacceptable to even put guess in this type of room!!! When communicated this to management was told it's coffee stains!! I was not born yesterday!! Management questioning my knowledge and Intelligence!! ROOM 204.
