The room was outdated and dirty. Bathroom moldy and rusty, tub would not drain. Air conditioner was loud and could not find a happy medium with the temp. No blankets on bed, just sheets. Pool extremely small and not nice at all.

" Welcome to the new Hotel Indigo Pittsburgh East Liberty, a beautifully restored hotel incorporating the city’s historic culture. I travel a lot and worst hotel experience ever

This hotel did not match the advertising on its' website and because of the horrible experience, I will never stay at an IHG brand hotel again. It is clear that leadership and management are out of touch with oversight of their properties and the realities on the ground. If I were an executive at IHG, I would be embarrassed by the product of Hotel Indigo East Liberty.
The list is long:
Very little staff and staff were not knowledgeable. 1 front desk person and 1 person who seemed to staff the restaurant and address guest needs. Upon check out, front desk staff didn't know how to close out the account and print a receipt

Restaurant advertises custom/fresh breakfasts which was one reason this hotel was chosen over two others in spite of a higher price point - on site breakfast is convenient. Upon arriving - it ISN'T a custom breakfast, it was a buffet which is not how I like to eat my breakfast.
Whiskey bar is nonexistent. There are bottles of alcohol on shelves but the bar is inactive. There is nobody to staff what is supposed to be a bar
Restaurant looks like an old Cracker Barrel or some basic chain. Nobody seemed to be eating there.
Entire hotel was VERY TIRED. Worn. Pictures on website have to be from when it was built ten years ago. It no longer looks like this. Lounge furniture looked like worn dorm furniture. The designs are very outdated. Because the ceiling in my room was a creamy yellow color it looked dirty, like the house of a very heavy chain smoker.
ROOM WAS GROSS. Cleaning was nonexistent. Dirty, a BABY TOOTH was sitting on the window sill, mold in shower, torn wall paper, keurig coffee maker didn't work, housekeeping only had decaf coffee, shower was difficult to operate and about 4 to 5 times each shower the water would become scalding hot, the shower tiles were very slippery, for a king room we were only given 1 very small frayed bath towel, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. When we asked for more towels, we had to wait because the remaining bath towels were in the wash so the hotel doesn't have enough towels to serve guests. Various items were stained.
Frankly, the worst hotel stay ever. And as I said - I will never go to another IHG brand hotel. If they are willing to sell this "product" (their rooms) at full price in this condition, the leadership and management are clearly out of touch. It is an embarrassment.
There was very little staffing - I felt bad for the two or three people on as they had their hands full due to the substandard nature of the hotel.
Do yourself a favor and stay in a different hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is usually good. On this occasion it was not and poor value for money as nights 1&2 were 150 euros, night 3 was 250 euros

Great Location but not clean rooms

The hotel location is great, breakfast is great and the property its self is clean but the rooms are not. Even if you have your room serviced everyday it is no cleaned. Also experienced issues with check in. 2 agents at the desk, with a guest at each and 1 in front of me in the line, it took over 30 minutes to check in.

There were bugs in the room hotel staff had no change for laundry and the bugs thing was totally brushed off. Mentioned of bugs should have been an instant room change. I should not be told to stay another night

Not Happy!!!

We paid extra for the free breakfast for 2. Not once did anyone tell us what time breakfast was or was it written anywhere! The time was no where!! We headed down at 930 and it was done already!! It’s usually 10, sometimes 11 when it’s done. The host was really rude and we did not get our free breakfast!! 😠
