fyi; I stay in many holiday inn, and this was the most unfriendly place I stayed. 1. outrageous price; tribal member host a very outstanding Annual Powwow, and every year, Holiday Inn jack-up their price just to take advantage/void of us participates. maybe because we're "different". I know because i stayed there at other time, it was was waaay cheaper 2. no member greeting, 3. Made prior advance reservation, still no choice of room. 4. Linens & pillow were used up old & hard as a rock. 5. choice of food, host-"no more, that's all you get".

The Holiday Inn Northwest University Heights hotel offers spacious guest rooms and full suites, microwave and refrigerators in each guest room. Our famous hot breakfast buffet is a favorite, with the sparkling indoor pool, free internet, fitness and business center. With easy access to San Antonio International Airport, Military friendly, we are easy access to JBSA – Camp Bullis and Fort Sam Houston for our military groups and training programs. Our groups love to mingle and have "Ice Breaker" receptions at our Lobby Bar before going out to dinner at great local restaurants.

Transients on property/Hard beds

We have stayed numerous times at this hotel but this will be our last. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable but the worst thi g this time was police presence, questioning a man we believe was not a guest and was on the 4th floor knocking on a random door and a transient at the entrance asking people if he could use their shower. We just don't feel safe anymore. Staff should not allow this as this brings down the value and reflection of the Holiday Inn name. Oh, and we had to use "business center" on this trip. Needs major update, the computer was soooo slooooow.

Falsely advertised rooms to get you to there filthy hazardous locations so you could be robbed and disrespected by staff and other management. They’ll charge you as soon as you get there so you don’t have a chance to actually see the rooms because they’re not the same as online

Short Stary

Snowed like crazy and I had to look for a place to stay over night.
The room was nice and a typical Holiday Inn.
The staff was polite and very receiving.
I got up early (6;30 am) and decided to hit the road.
When I got down stairs there was nothing out. The service area was dark
Other guests were setting out in the lobby drinking coffee.
I stay at Holiday Inn's for one reason, there consistent.
This one let me down. Nothing else was open in the town except MacDonalds.

La peor estancia

Nos hemos hospedado varias veces en este hotel, nos gusta su ubicación y nos parece seguro y comodo; pero durante nuestra última estancia pasamos la peor noche que hemos tenido en un hotel, la alarma de incendios sonó por error 3 veces durante la noche y la madrugada, un ruido horrible y muy fuerte que nos despertó muy asustados y a muchos huéspedes también, después de eso no pudimos estar tranquilos ni dormir ni descansar para nada, el personal nos dio poca información y no ofreció ninguna disculpa; imagino que es algo que no pasa seguido o eso espero, pero para prevenir nunca me volvería a hospedar aquí.

great location -center of the city close to restaurants and entertainment but a little tired hotel, the lane was like dump with many skips along the land however service was superb and very helpful and attentive/friendly staff. lift and gym needs significant improvement.

Mantenimiento y estacionamiento

Entiendo que sea un inmueble con varios años de funcionamiento, pero la regadera mal, elevadores regular y la ubicación y costo del estacionamiento es bastante mala, habiendo un estacionamiento frente al hotel, hay que caminar 2 cuadras para estacionar o tomar el vehículo.
El personal y limpieza bien, pero, honestamente no vuelvo a hospedarme allí.

Condemn this hotel

I had an over night stay at this hotel while traveling. The air conditioner in the room was not working. The room came with box fans from Walmart. No soap or hot water. The fire alarm went off at 5am. The elevator not working the next morning. I was on the 10 floor. No breakfast. Then the staff was so nonchalant like I know this is not a good stay but offered zero compensation. Gave me the customer service number which offers no refund. The printer had no paper so I asked to get receipt emailed to me. I have not received that yet. I would not recommend this hotel
