A modern Nottingham hotel close to the city centre and East Midlands Airport with a restaurant, meeting rooms and free WiFi
Holiday Inn® Nottingham hotel has free parking , and you can walk to the city centre or Nottingham station in 20 minutes. The M1 motorway is 15 minutes away by car, providing easy access to London and the North. You can reach East Midlands Airport (EMA) in 20 minutes.
Hold a conference for up to 45 guests in the hotel's two versatile, naturally lit meeting rooms , which have projectors,AC and free WiFi . Catered lunches are available on request, or you can order a buffet to eat as you work. The NG2 and Castle Marina business parks are both within a mile of the hotel.
Create and play your own games at the National Videogame Arcade , 10 minutes' drive away. The intu Victoria shopping centre, a four-minute drive away, Trent Bridge cricket ground and the City Ground , home of Nottingham Forest football club, are both within two miles of the hotel.
The relaxed Eaton's Brasserie is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and room service available. Relax in the stylish bar , which has an outside terrace and live sport on a plasma-screen TV. Kids stay and eat free .

Relaxing stay, shame about the breakfast

The staff on reception and in the bar area were very friendly and professional. The evening meal was good and again service was excellent. The let down was the breakfast which was all dried up and not pleasant as it had been left under the hot plates to long.
We did use the gym which was to warm even with the air conditioning on. In the bedroom the bed was nice and soft, shame about the pillows they were rock solid , other hotels I've stayed in have a mixture of soft and hard, not this hotel. I would stay at this hotel due to the cleanliness and service and will use McDonald next door for breakfast next time.

It is disappointing to hear your feedback on breakfast, this is usually an areas we receive compliments on, please be assured I will discuss the points you raised with our Head Chef and Food & Beverage Manager to ensure breakfast is closely monitored going forward.
It is a delight to hear the remainder of your stay was on the whole enjoyable. We have just replaced all our pillows and bedding in the hotel, all rooms come with 2 soft and 2 hard pillows, however as they are still so new they're still a little firm. If you would prefer a softer pillow, our friendly reception team would be happy to arrange feather pillows for your room on your next stay,

So-so Experience

This was a Holiday Inn at its most basic. It was OK for an overnight visit, but Holiday Inn hotels in third-world countries offer more comfort and amenities at a fraction of the cost. The rooms need to be freshened up; there are chips in the paint and the woodwork. But the beds are comfortable, and that may be all that's necessary.

Holiday Inn® Lancaster hotel is just off the M6, with easy access to the Lake District. The shops and attractions of Lancaster are a 10-minute drive away. Alternatively, leave the car in the hotel's free car park and catch a bus to the town centre from the stop outside the hotel. Lancaster Station is served by direct trains to Manchester. Blackpool Airport (BLK) is 40 minutes' drive from the hotel.
The hotel is just 20 minutes' drive from the scenic Lake District National Park. A 10-minute drive from the hotel, the 12th-century Lancaster Castle is surrounded by parkland. Nearby, the riverside Lancaster Maritime Museum occupies a former warehouse. Morecambe Bay, 20 minutes' drive from the hotel, offers coastal walks and seafront cafés. Lancaster University is easily accessible and only a 15 minutes' drive from the hotel.
Business guests are 20 minutes' drive from Heysham Power Station. At the hotel, you can host meetings for up to 100 people in seven flexible conference rooms with AV equipment and free WiFi.
