Smart central Maastricht hotel with a stylish restaurant and free WiFi.
Set on the bank of the River Meuse, the luxurious Crowne Plaza® Maastricht hotel puts you within a 10-minute walk of Maastricht's historic city center. We offer parking for a daily fee, and it's 10 minutes on foot to Maastricht train station and 15 minutes by car to Maastricht Aachen Airport.
With nine flexible meeting rooms, for up to 500-guest receptions, and a riverside terrace, our well-equipped hotel makes the ideal base for the discerning corporate traveller. Our Crowne Plaza Meetings Director is on hand to assist you, and free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. If you're attending a trade fair, MECC Maastricht is an eight-minute drive away.
High-end boutiques line Hoogbrugstraat and Rechtstraat, just around the corner from the hotel. The historic sights of Maastricht's old town, including picturesque squares lined with cafés, are a short walk away, as is the Bonnefanten Museum, which displays art from medieval times to the present.

Comfortable with good location

Very helpful staff, 24 hour front desk and nice amenities. As far as I could tell there is no individual heating control in the room (controlled centrally in the hotel) so it was a bit chilly on cold days to be in the room. Good temperature for sleeping though.
The Bar serves a decent selection of food from the restaurant kitchen which was convenient.

Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Schiphol is located just one train stop away from Schiphol Airport and right outside Amsterdam, which gives it an ideal location. The most convenient and sustainable way to reach the hotel is per train which is a short 5-minute ride away from Schiphol Airport to Hoofddorp Station and from here the hotel is located on a short 9-minute walk. Between 05:30 and 23:30 trains with a stop at Hoofddorp Station depart every 5 to 10 minutes and costs €2,60 per person to be paid beforehand at a yellow ticket station at the airport. Alternatively, the hotel can be reached with a short 8-minute taxi ride which will cost approximately €30 one-way.
A daily free ‘Express Start Continental Breakfast’ buffet is available for all our guests. The modern hotel rooms are fully equipped to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This includes free WiFi throughout the hotel, a television with various international channels, and complimentary coffee and tea-making facilities. Depending on your choice, your room has one double bed or two single beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and toiletries.
Amsterdam city center is located 15 minutes away from the hotel and if you are looking for an activity in nature, then the Haarlemmermeerse Bos offers many ways to explore. Let our partner restaurants pick you up from the hotel complimentary and enjoy a wide range of culinarian options.

Value for Money and staff gives its best

A small shortcoming is that for early starter there is no breakfast during weekends.
I had to leave hotel at 7am, but breakfast was not available so early. Later in the shuttle bus I learnt that you could ask for a take-away breakfast. Would be nice if one is asked while check-in.
Anything else, I was satisfied, as always.
