No Heat

Our recent visit in February 2025 (winter-freezing) we found no heat. The poor staff had to wear heavy outdoor winter clothes in the lobby.
We were told the rooms were very hot, and the hotel cooling system was not working. When we entered the room it was 84 degrees. Thankfully understanding air conditioning I set the system to Cool and set the thermostat to 68. We left the hotel for 4 hours and returned to a 68 degree room.
In the morning the lobby and restaurant was in the 30's and the staff was freezing. The flames under the buffet could not keep the food hot. Thankfully the Peabody hotel across the street had heat and we had a great breakfast.
For the record: I have stayed here a couple of times before and everything was fine...

Very nice hotel

Overall, the hotels is very well kept and clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The room and bathrooms are clean. The only thing is the breakfast. There are no variations if you stayed more than one night. It would be great if the hotel would rotate menu items for the hot breakfast portion of the breakfast.

Construction Mess

Until the construction is done I would not stay here. The check in staff seemed very stress and there were only three guest waiting to check in. I saw what looked like other staff come behind the counter, but they did not try and help with checking, even though there were two computers. The room was ok, but the temperature control needs to be checked. It was during the cold spell and I had it turned down to 64 and was still a little worm. The distance from the bed to the TV was so large that you could have fit another bed in there. The tub needed to be replaced as it was badly stained where you stand. The smell from the paint and caulking was a little noticeable. The back parking lot where the construction lay down area was needed to be cleaned up. It looked like the dumpster has not been emptied in weeks and there was demoed material just laying all around.

Stayed at the hotel Feb 2025. We left our car in the park and fly. We came back and called the hotel to have the shuttle pick us up at the airport. They said 5-10 minutes. Twenty minutes later I called again. They were checking on it. 35 minutes after the initial call they showed up. This hotel is no longer worth the premium costs to stay and park your car.

recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls during a business trip, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. As a frequent traveler, I value comfort, efficiency, and great service, and this hotel delivered on all fronts.
The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Falls, with breathtaking views right from the hotel. While I was primarily in town for work, the setting made it easy to unwind after long meetings. The historic charm of the hotel is well-preserved, but it also offers modern amenities that cater to business travelers like myself. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the business center was well-equipped, making it easy to get work done when needed.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a great bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. The staff was professional and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. I also appreciated the on-site dining options—dinner at Prime Steakhouse was a highlight, offering not only great food but also an incredible view of the Falls.

Bait and switch

Booked a king corner with 2 views of runway because we love to watch places take off and land. This is an upgrade and the price reflects that.
Got to room and you can only see the TAXI way to the gigantic maintenance facility at the end of the airport on one side and a sliver of another taxi way on the other side. No planes take off or land at this side. Asked about it at the front desk and was met with attitude and " I'm not sure what it says on the site, but I can email them tomorrow to change it" and after dinner with "we can move you to another regular room (a downgrade) but you got what you paid for".
Neither I'm satisfied with, but we were leaving early in the morning.
If you are booking this room for views, save yourself the trouble.
We were so disappointed and will not be inclined to book this brand again since they lack hospitality and the ability to help a guest who has paid for something they didn't get. No follow up as promised and lack luster attitude at the front desk.

A note, if you are booking this hotel thinking you can walk to the airport in the morning... You can't.
You must take a shuttle in the cold and wake up very early to do that. Apparently they never open the security on that side of the airport. Not the hotel's fault, but it caused a lot of misunderstandings in the shuttle and everyone was complaining it wasn't disclosed when booking.

Hallway noise was disruptive to sleep and challenges with reservation changes on site

Late night and early morning hallway noise disrupted sleep; I was not in close proximity to the elevators.
Bathroom was nice; however, water leakage on floor from shower was significant.
Reservation changes necessitated me calling and engaging staff 5 times to avoid having to switch rooms during my stay. It was finally resolved after my sustained efforts.
Otherwise, nice hotel, friendly staff, great location.

Nice hotel, right beside hotel and food
