Welcome to the Holiday Inn Morgantown - Reading Area, Pennsylvania! The Holiday Inn Morgantown - Reading Area hotel is adjacent to Hollywood Casino Morgantown and immediately off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, exit 298. Our property is just one Turnpike exit away from Lancaster, Reading, and Exton areas. There is always plenty to do in Berks, Chester, and Lancaster County, including: Shady Maple , Santander Arena , The Reading Fightin' Phils ballpark , Maple Grove Raceway , Kitchen Kettle and Sight & Sound Theater . The hotel is also adjacent to the Classic Auto Mall . Try our local wine at the Kog Hill winery or spend the day with the kids at Dutch Wonderland. Holiday Inn Morgantown - Reading Area offers many amenities including, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi access, Business Center with the use of print or fax services at your disposal, indoor heated salt water swimming pool, and on site guest laundry facilities. Our property has a variety of banquet spaces that can accommodate anywhere from a small meeting to a large party, with on site catering. Staff tried to fight me

I have been IHG member since 2014 and I was Platinum Ambassador member for very long time. Recently I became Gold Elite Member. For over 10 years of experience, I have never encountered this problem with this particular hotel staff. His name is Josephine and when I came to the front desk on Thursday April 17,2025 around 5:15pm, he started giving me attitude from the beginning. He didnt even greet me and sat “thank you for being ihg gold elite number.” I know some people can have a bad day but taking it to the customer is very unprofessional. When I addresses his attitude, he said that he doesnt have to greet me and I asked for manager. After long time, he came with a woman with dark skin with glasses. As soon as I saw the manager, I told her his attitude problem and told me that she is manager on duty and she will help me on a different computer. I was keep looking at him because he was looking at me and giving me comments. He also said, “what are you looking at!.” I told the manager, I just want to extend a night on my current stay. The manager said there is no available rooms. At that moment, I checked my app and there were plenty of rooms. So I was able to book a separate reservation with same type of room right away. This is not right. Ganging up on a loyal customer like this. Until this day, I didn't receive any questions about my stay from the hotel. Usually, I get those right away.

There are things that can over look, but when it comes to people that don’t perform there jobs, because of what I’ll call being lazy or not happy with their job, that reflects poorly on the hotel.

Room fine - service questionable

the location is not so great. It shares a parking lot with a questionable extended stay hotel. Upon my check no carts available. got one after over an hour, no employee even bothered to find one. The room itself it self was fine. The was constantly being propped open at all times day and night. Also the $75 “hold” they put on your card for incidentals actually gets charged to your card right away. Then you need to wait for a credit.

Our hotel is located near numerous businesses and exciting local attractions such as Woonsocket's own Stadium Theater Performing Arts Centre and the Museum of Work and Culture. We are near Highland Industrial Park in Woonsocket/Cumberland, RI, and a short drive to Providence, RI, and Franklin, MA. Landmark Hospital is just around the corner for those visiting or supporting patients. Our guests staying with us on business will be sure to appreciate the fact that we offer over 4,000 square feet of meeting space and complimentary Wi-Fi Internet throughout the hotel. Visitors should take advantage of our great location and visit many of the wonderful sightseeing attractions in Rhode Island, which are only a short drive from the hotel. Clean Hotel with old TVs, no USB ports, and terrible cable Service

Clean room and bathroom. No USB charging ports. No streaming or casting options on old TVs. Cable is spotty and doesn't work at night so bring portable device. WIFI works well. Breakfast is typical. Customer service is fine. Overall, a good experience but played Cany Crush on my phone all night because the cable doesn't work on 5th floor after 6pm. Seems to work in the morning though.

Booking attendant was friendly nice and helpful. Upon check in the attendant was cold, not helpful and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Didn’t stay that night went and checked in at another place. Canceled the room for the second day

Wir haben das Hotel bereits Anfang 2023 besucht und sind aufgrund des sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis wieder gekommen. Leider wurden wir dieses Mal enttäuscht. Die Zimmer waren staubig und nicht richtig gereinigt. Das Frühstück war nicht gut, die Säfte ständig leer, die Teller dreckig, die Tische wurden nicht abgeputzt und es gab keinerlei Obst/Gemüse als frische Komponente. Wir würden das Hotel wie wir es zuletzt erlebt haben nicht weiterempfehlen.
