InterContinental Resort And Spa Moorea
With 27 acres of lush gardens, sandy beaches and a tropical lagoon, InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea is an oasis of luxury surrounded by nature. You can dive into the warm sea from the terrace of an overwater bungalow suite, or bathe in a private plunge pool in one of the garden-view bungalows. Borrow a kayak or paddleboard to explore the lagoon, or gaze at coral while snorkeling. At night, enjoy a mesmerizing themed evening of Polynesian dining, song and dance.

Make sure you have dinner at The Shell!
ByVancouverFoodiefromVancouver, Canada
We have fine-dined in many places around the world and were so pleasantly surprised with The Shell restaurant that we ate there 3 of the 5 nights! The special Valentine's Day dinner is one of the best dinners we've ever had.
The snorkelling at the resort is excellent (even though the water is not as nice as in Bora Bora). If you have a beach bungalow, make sure you pack bug spray!
We loved Polynesia Night: the buffet and the entertainment was fantastic! We both have allergies, and the Head Chef was great, as he walked us through the entire buffet to make sure we knew what we could and could not eat (thank you!).
Dear Guests, Thank you so much for this lovely feedback and for your stay at our Hotel. I am delighted to hear that you feel you made the right choice; The property itself is indeed very special, but as you rightfully mention it is also the small details and attention that make a difference. Finally, your comment regarding the food has been passed along to our Chef. It is sometimes difficult to please such a diverse clientele in a domain which is highly depend on personal preferences. Your comment is therefore great encouragement. Hopefully see you again one day. Sincerely, The Management

Booked 3 nights in this hotel using the IHG online site for a wedding anniversary weekend and overall stay was comfortable and pleasant. The staff were friendly and accommodating to my requests.
However there are a few points that disappointed me and wished that the hotel had not overlooked these details as it had impacted on the customer experience throughout my stay.
1. I prearranged some sliced fruit to be delivered to my room straight after I checked in, it was supposed to be a surprise for my wife after a long flight and checking in late on an 'empty stomach' state. I was reassured by the reservations agent that it was going to be taken care of but I had to call the front desk to re-request this again after waiting for about 45mins in the room with no one showing up. This completely ruined the surprise for my wife as she wanted to know what the ruckus was all about and I had to explain.
I had also asked for the same cut fruit to be prepared for the 2nd night as well, but I would call the front desk to have it delivered as I wasn't sure what I time I would be ready for it. However the in room dining staff showed up out of nowhere with the fruit on the 2nd night... which I had to apologise and explain that I would call for it later when I wanted it.
2. The room smelled like sweat when I first went in, it wasn't particularly strong but very disappointing especially when you smell a really nice fragrance as you enter the lobby of the hotel and this is the absolute last thing you want guests to experience. This not particularly the fault of your extremely hardworking housekeepers, (especially in the really hot summer weather) but steps need to be taken to ensure that "smell" is also part of the housekeeping tasks, it should logically smell like the fragrance used in the hotel lobby.
3. The TV in my room displayed different names each day for the Welcome screen - none of them were my name at all. So much for being 'recognised' for my gold status.
Apart from those 3 points - I would like to thank the staff for organizing a personalized message for our wedding anniversary and even organizing a bottle of sparkling wine. I appreciate the thought although I wasn't expecting it - unfortunately my wife doesn't drink alcohol but we took the bottle home as a memory of our stay.
Thank you kindly for taking the time to provide your feedback.
I was sorry to hear that there were a few hiccups during your stay, but appreciate the acknowledgement that the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Your loyalty as a Gold Member certainly valuable to us and I apologies if this was not felt throughout your stay.
Your comments regarding the room scent and the issue with the TV interface have been passed onto the management teams from Housekeeping and IT to address.
I do hope that you enjoyed your anniversary here and hope that you have some fond memories.

I love being in Potts Point - love walking the most interesting streets, checking out many cafes, restaurants - and Kings Cross station across the road is so convenient and easy to access

I loved everything about this hotel. Train station is just next to the hotel, big room and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, big window and nice people at the reception. We were also given a bottle of wine :)

It was one of the thrills of my life to be able to view the Sydney fireworks display from our room in the Holiday Inn Potts Point on New Years Eve, 2016. I made the reservations over six months in advance and the hotel delivered! Or should I say, the fireworks, not just over the Harbour Bridge but also visible in two other locations of Sydney Harbour, were everything I could have imagined.
Location of this hotel is wonderful. Next to Kings Cross subway station, in a neighborhood with a good mix of shops and bars and restaurants, and a longish walk to the Botanic Gardens. Checkin was efficient, the room clean, spacious and with that view!
Even if it wasn' t New Years Eve, would stay again.
