We're conveniently located near the business district and a short walk from the lively Pia Bandai market offering sumptuous local produce. Niigata Airport is 20 minutes' drive away.

Excellent Layover Hotel

Arrived at the hotel at 0130, I did email the hotel that I would be arriving at that late hour. I was greeted as an Elite Gold Rewards Club member. The front desk did inform me that the water in the entire due to emergency repairs, so no shower when I got to the room, LOL. The room is nice, very good for layovers and had everything you would want, a bed, sofa, desk, closet, drawers, safe, refrigerator, a nice bathroom with shower and free internet. Be careful with the shower, it closes at a corner, make sure the doors seat.
They have a really good breakfast buffet with plenty of selections for every taste and religious exceptions.
They have free shuttles to the airport, the shuttle going to Terminals 1

Holiday Inn Express Durban Umhlanga hotel, located on Umhlanga Ridge, is a few minutes drive from the Umhlanga Beaches and minutes from the popular Gateway Theatre of Shopping mall. This three star hotel is 10 km from Durban's vibrant city centre, and 13 km from King Shaka International Airport. Leave your vehicle in our secure underground car park when you attend meetings in the two air-conditioned meeting rooms of Holiday Inn Express Durban-Umhlanga. We do a lot of business in KZN, and Holiday Inn Express Umhlanga is our only choice, as IHG members, this is the best value for money.
