I am pleased to inform you that the hotel is running on its 51st year and we are gradually implementing renovation floor wise at a time. Our rooms will also be getting new mattresses, bed skits, in - room accessories and much more. In taking great care of our charming hotel, our main priority is to be able to offer a very well - maintained and comfortable atmosphere.
I am sorry to hear the transport arrangement was not up to the mark, we regret that this impacted your experience at our hotel. I have personally addressed this with the front office staff to ensure it will not happen again.

Lovely hotel with great service

Our stay was great. We came for a tennis tournament and a big benefit for us was the free use of the tennis court. The room was clean, staff was very nice and food was good!

A near perfect holiday Day inn experience

First of all, Holiday Inn Amritsar was the one to introduce me with the
IHG culture.
This was my second trip here therefore I had a lot of expectations from this hotel.

Although there were minor glitches but were handled very well by the concerning staff.

Access is rate based, by payment of a supplement fee of USD 70 daily, above the room rate charged for the day. Poor services.

Let me start first with this hotel not responding on a timely manner to guest e mails,simple but urgent questions are left unanswered.
You check in at 10am and as a Royal ambassador no room offered until i asked for around 11:30 .
Over 30 min waiting for my tiny handluggage,i have to go down collect it myself.
Ambassador amenities not sent until asked for around 7:30pm and room was free at all time with no DO NOT DISTURB SIGN.
Check out took me an average 30 min,the desk next to me managed to check out 3 guests at the same time,total confusions in room rate,unable to recalculate.
My simple advise is coordination which seems totally absent,if you expect a guest CHECK HIS STATUS,when you sending him airport pick up,you have ample time to get ready for his arrival,Check his entitlements,respect guest priority and i think when you have X guest waiting for a room Royal/Spire comes as priority,by now ambassadors amenity should be an easy task and never expect a guest to ask for,when you tell a guest his room is ready that means it have been fully inspected and ready,arriving to my room and finding the door wide open with staff inside busy changing the balcony bulbs is the least anyone expect.
Finally Nespresso machine is very good equipment but when no one have the thought to provide the adequate coffe cups ,you ruined the joy of having that coffee.
The Club lounge staff are excellent,the staff in general are friendly,the hotel is good.
