Comfortable stay and awesome staff

Very pleasant stay. Impressive front desk and service staff ready to help anytime. Breakfast was great and had lots of healthy as well as traditional choices. Room was very well managed and pleasant to stay. Location is the key for this hotel. Not in a very busy area and very near to a metro stations if you want to explore Delhi. I definitely recommend this place .

Good choice for family with kids

We have been staying in this hotel for almost 3-4 years with 2 kids during Malaysia festive season.
This is a great hotel, with spacious guest room, variety of choice for breakfast, walking distance to night market/supper and reasonable play area/ activities for kids. (Even we never have time to participate with the activities yet)
The only matter may bring up to attention is the parking space provided is a bit too far. Especially we came back quite late from town and need to park at very far end of the hotel. Nevertheless the security of the hotel is good and we able to take slow walks.
We always enjoy our stay in holiday Inn resort Penang, not only the staffs are attentive but also provide good service , always is a good choice for a family with kids.

- We have the kids club for the young ones and the games and entertainment area for the teenagers with billiard, shuffle puck and table tennis.
- We offer qualified nanny service at a charge if you like an evening for yourself to explore Penang.
- Lot’s of activities around the pool available too.
- For kids 12 and under we have our great kids eat and stay free program (Terms and condition apply).
- Our buffets have a designated kids station. Kids menu has been aligned with “Nutrition Australia” for fun and healthy food kids like.
- Our hotel features three distinct different types of kids & family suites with a total of 22 specialty rooms.
- We have the kids club for the young ones and the games and entertainment area for the teenagers with billiard, shuffle puck and table tennis.
- We offer qualified nanny service at a charge if you like an evening for yourself to explore Penang.

At the same time we are not a resort which is run over with kids and all generation enjoy the warm values of our team members in a family hotel if you have or don’t have kids with you.

Renovated hotel with clean and great facilities

Rooms are renovated, although the plumbing could do with some upgrading as we had problems draining the bathtub. Overall, the facilities are new and kids loved the playroom.
Enjoyed the ping pong table and beach as well.

Our newly launched playlab is taking the kidsclub experience to a different level! From interactive games to arts and craft, to lego room, slide and ball pit and the glow in the dark room. For older kids there are the table games and as well the kinetic station to play. Glad your kids enjoyed it. There is more to come in the Beachwing by mid year….

Thank you for recognizing our fantastic location, across our garden you are at the beach, around the corner you have the night market with all the hawker stall’s, vendor’s and if you turn around the other corner of the hotel there is some great small restaurants along the road and on the beach too. Bus stops are just outside of the hotel to give you easy access if you want to explore Georgetown or the National Park.
Please let us know when you are making your way back to Penang.

My stay in Crowne Plaza was excellent. Enjoyed the comfort there. I was actually on a business trip to India and was staying in ITC Maurya. Later changed the hotel and shifted to Crowne Plaza as it was close to my work place. Glad that I made the right choice. I enjoyed the overall stay. Hotel is overall good, clean and comfortable. The beds actually are too soft and for longer stay, this can become 1 think which you wont like. The location of the hotel I wish would be different. Just in front og a dirty canal and the smell of it sometimes is there in the lobby of the Hotel. Now the location can't be changed but something should be done to avoid the smell. The staff and hospitality is excellent. My special thanks to Mr Narendra who is the manager in the restaurant for his excellent hospitality. He always had the smile and ready to help you one step further. For hotels and hospitality business, people like Narendra are real gems who knows what a customer is and how to treat a customer. In my next visit to Delhi, I plan on staying again in Crowne Plaza and the strongest reason behind is actually Narendra. My good wishes for him for his career..
