Great location and comfortable room

We chose the hotel for its location and price. We were not disappointed. The location was close walking distance to many delicious foods in Katong area. The room was a little tight but comfortable. We found the bathroom door design interesting and efficient use of space - as it served as a door to the bathroom, but also swiveled as a door to shower. The only suggestion for improvement is to provide multiple entries for vehicles of hotel guests to the parking plaza it shared with adjacent property.

Enjoyable stay with new experience in Katong

All the services it was perfect, the bathroom, the guest room, the mattras, the pillow, the air con, the breakfast, the great room, the location and the staff.

Just only small things but important things its the staff not recognized my status as gold member when I was check in the first night.

The rest is all good !

Excellent. Wonderfully greeted, and always responsive to my need, late checkout etc. Always secure the top floor room for I prefer the quiet one. I made a request once before and the Katong staff remember my choice.

A couple of days in Singapore

Booked hotel for stay after a cruise. They were helpful in getting a room early to put our luggage in so we could head out and enjoy the city. Katong area is a great mix of old and new, with chinese and malay culture in walking distance. Hotel has relatively small rooms so would have appreciated a full size queen bed for two adults to sleep. Also, they stated their were no amenity or points for Spire members at holiday inn express, which was new to me. They helped book taxis for our early morning trip to the airport, and packed to go breakfasts for our large group. Staff were great!

Food Delicious

Food at the resteraunt Tali is excellent. Try the beef Bulgogi. Very friendly staff, great service. The gym is better than the one I use at home.

Decore a little old. Did not get good sleep as the doors are not sound proofed. No privacy with conjoining room.

I was particularly disappointed to hear that the decoration was not to your liking and you did not get much sleep due to noise level. Please be assured I will be sure to share your comments with our management team to assist in further improving our room offerings. Our hotel will be renovated from July and I can guarantee that such feedback will be taken into consideration for our prototype room currently designed by our architect.

Also, a note has been added to your profile so If you plan another stay with us, a quieter room will be allocated.
