Reasonably price at good location but pay more during check out

Special thanks for Soraya front desk. Excellent service from housekeeping, front desk and breakfast staff.

During the stay was awesome, however during checkout very unpleasant as we are given an option to choose the currency to charge to our credit card which seems confusing to first timers. Somehow i feel cheated with the terrible exchange rate upon check out.

Great staff very friendly

Very friendly reception staff along with house keeping staff. The room was very clean. very comfortable bedding. I felt safe and enjoyed the quite atmosphere.
I have stayed in a lot of hotel this is my favourite I always feel special when I reside in this dwelling.

The decoration and furniture was good. Enjoyed the ambience. And the location was right in the heart of the Katong Village. Makes going out to the coffee shops very convenient.

Great Stay

I was impressed by the room's decor how they took the 70's era pieces and gave a freah breath of life. Those were things that I could relate to. Love the room. However the illumination in the room needa to be a bit brighter

Whimsical Hotel in Singapore

The hotel is beautiful, very charming and whimsical. There is an infinity pool on the roof. The rooms are well-appointed, with a sitting area, a game table, a foot bath basin and accoutrements, coffee, tea, a mini bar, two sinks, a GPS type of device that helped us get around, and old fashioned candies! The only issue is that I thought it was closer to the "downtown" area, my mistake. But it is convenient to the airport. A word of caution...the hotel called us a taxi and after a long wait and the hotel checking, the taxi had cancelled and not bothered to tell the hotel. They ordered another taxi, and that never came either. What we should have done is taken any taxi that came along.

早朝フライトで到着し、ダメもとでホテルに直行したところ、部屋が空いていたので追加費用無しでチェックインさせてくれました。部屋もとても綺麗で素敵なデザインでした。特に女性の方は気にいる方が多いと思います。近くに美味しいレストランも多く、次回旅行でも是非利用したいです。

Feeling

Overall experience here is good.
Receptionist are nice with smile all the times and have patience to hear what you said. Room design is amazing with nice view. Location is also very good as many shops and restaurants be nearby for us to try. Transportation is also ok even do not have MRT at there, but bus stop is not so far to reach. Welcoming letter by handwriting is very impressive by my son.
I also have some suggestion for my experience as follows
1/. Gymnastic room is amazing with all new machinery, but the rule for usage is in ENGLISH and need with Chinese wording too. Its because I had suffered for some guys they closed the light at outside and a three year old kid with his father and grandfather had been at there. Its very dangerous for the kid to touch the heavy machinery with her grandfather doing exercise at there. Also, his grandfather was not right to use the machinery and every time with big noise to carry down the machinery. All these will affect guests at there and machinery is easily for damage. I hope can have Chinese notice at outside and inside to mention all the rules for understanding more clearly. As now, many Chinese to stay at your hotel and do not know English !
2/. Emails communication is not so fast! Before my arrival, I had sent email to your side, but need to send second them to push for reply and then no follow up for my questions again Need to improve !
3/. My room do not have comb supply for two days and until my departure met your roommate and she told me maybe forget to put. sSomeone need to check about this and made sure everything is arranged by hotel instruction.
I will visit your hotel again during April and hope will not happen the issue again for the gymnastic room.
Overall this hotel is valued to stay again !!
